The service was great - everyone only spoke French though, so be prepared to write down what you want on your phone if you only speak English. I'd recommend coming here daily for breakfast or for a sweet treat if you're staying in the area since there's so many options to try from.

They have an excellent selection from bread to pastries and cakes to macaroons. By far the best macaroons I've ever had, though a little pricey, they are well worth it. My favourite out of the macaroons is the fig variety. There is a lot more to choose from compared to your average local bakery, they have many display windows with typical pastries, and even more displays with unique deserts and savoury pastries. They also have a small indoor seating area, cozy and lovely. If you're visiting Paris and the metro is accessible to you it is well worth a visit. The tramway line 3a is directly across the street, and on the weekends there is a local flea market, Puces de Vanves to be enjoyed less than a block away. They seem to go through waves of customers, so there is an ebb and flow to how many people will be there at any given moment, but the wait is never too long as the bakery is well staffed. Polite, efficient service and great care to detail in packaging.

I made a habit of stopping by this boulangerie-pâtisserie a few times each week to treat myself to a bite of something sweet, and no selection ever disappointed! I had quite an affinity for the tarte aux pommes, a choice that helped fill a slight homesickness for my native New York and proved to be a delight as stunning at is it sweet-tooth-satisfying. This was one of the first places I would bring my companions visiting from out of town, whether for an evening dessert or for their unbeatable lunch deal. While I still crave the triangle aux amandes and the pain aux raisins, by the time my stay had come to a close I was undeniably partial to the flan. It was a creation so perfectly creamy and luxuriously luscious that I simply could not resist it when the afternoon craving for something sweet came along! To my despair, nothing I've seen back home has rivaled it. For an immense array of gorgeous choices, Instant d'Envie is a must!
