Excellent food, beautiful setting and very friendly staff. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and were happily surprised at how quickly the food came. Definitely worth a visit.

Really great place for lunch. Make a reservation if you can as this place got packed outside around 12:30pm on a weekday. We sat in the patio in the back that was a nice size! There were umbrellas and big fans to keep us cool. There are no menus here, instead they have numerous chalk boards where they write by hand the menu in different languages. Every dish we got was great--especially recommend the Fish of the Day that was served with Peppers, the Oysters, and DEFINITELY GET THE GRAND MARNIER SOUFFLÉ!! I don't even like orange very much, but this soufflé was cooked to perfection and was soft and goey but just the right amounts. It is light but also filling--make sure to let your waiter know at the beginning of the meal if you would like the soufflé as it takes 20 minutes to cook! Highly recommend this place and then explore beautiful Saint Emilion a

The food was very nice but and it's a BIG BUTT- do not accept the tables next to the fireplace which is right next to kitchen. You'll hear every plate being scraped and every plate being delivered from the kitchen. Very uncomfortable and distracting tables. Kitchen service was very slow when I are there. Expensive wine list $$$$.

We were recommended to have lunch here. The food and services are excellent! The kitchen takes such good care of their food. We highly recommend the place when you travel to this region!

Incredible food with a menu that changes daily. "Everything is homemade" literally everything. They have an incredible outdoor seating area that is surrounded by limestone walls. Inside has a trendy vibe with French flair. The wine list is expansive and the staff will help you decide. I came to St Emilion and are here three times. Make sure you book a reservation!

This place was no different. Small restaurant in the the small village of Saint Emilion outside of Bordeaux. Adorable. Great view. Delicious cheese Delicious wine. Friendly service even though we asked for something they don't serve during lunch. So why remove a star this time. I have to differentiate these wonderful places and my only complaint is you have a menu on the street but aren't serving everything on the menu at that time. It's odd. The menu on the street advertised a plate of farmed cheese but that was only a dinner option and we were there during lunch. Why advertise it then? Anyway, be forewarned and remember the current "carte" is what they give you at the table-not what they advertise at the street. Nevertheless, they did have a charcuterie board and they gave it to us with only cheese, and they offered it-we didn't even ask. You know what? 5 stars. I changed it before posting. I don't care if the rest of my review no longer makes sense. There's no reason to take a star away. Great cheese, great wine, great views, friendly service that went out of their way to accommodate Americans who wanted something not on the menu. 5 stars it is.

I got the escargots to start and they were perfection. it was fun to take them out of the shells myself - it felt like a true French experience! they were perfectly buttery & garlicky without being heavy. the lamb was absolutely incredible too - my mom and I both got it and didn't regret doing a double order once we saw how amazing it was. while it was a bit pricey, it was worth it for the quality & quantity - we were sadly too full for dessert!

The food here was tasty, but a little on the pricey side. Cost about 50 euros per person for lunch…read more(including wine). It's a cool restaurant with nice decor, but there were a lot of tourists (including us). I think that maybe only 1-2 tables were speaking French. We ordered: -escargot appetizer: 12 snails for about 24 euros. These were definitely very tasty, and one of the better snails that I've had. Came with a pesto-ey sauce. Snails were juicy -duck breast main with fois grois. The duck breast was delicious, but was very rare (the meat was red). I did confirm with the waiter that it was meant to be served this way. He said that it was, but I would've liked it cooked a bit more (and I'm a person who usually orders steak on the rare side). The fois grois was only okay... didn't taste as nice as the times that I've had it in Paris or even in the US. -"grande cafe" dessert, which was essentially coffee with a bunch of pastries including creme brulee. First of all, I think that this is the best value as it cost the same price as the creme brulee option, but came with a creme brulee which was almost as big, plus a bunch more things. So I would recommend this. -wine was okay. I did expect a bit better though for 14 euros a glass So in summary, the food was delicious, but I think it was a tad overpriced (probably because it is catered for tourists)
