The house is very cozy, there's a fireplace that is also used for cooking meats. The menu is written directly on the wooden tables, original! I've taken an andouillette in a Maroilles and shallot sauce, very lovely! And in dessert, a café gourmand that is just the correct size to finish dinner. So, if during the weekend, you want an authentic Flemish cooking experience, rush there urgently! To be on the safe side of the road, call them to book a place.

Went there twice after reading a review of the place in the New York Times travel section…read more Excellent Flemish food. The meat are grilled on the traditional fireplace right in the dining room. For an authentic flemish country food experience in a typical flemish village definitely the place to go. Great local beer selection.
