Had tuna tartare, excellent and fresh. A tiny piece of sirloin from Japan was ridiculously expensive (65 euros for a size of your palm), but so juicy and tender. Side of mashed potatoes was so creamy and delicious. Tuna with tomato sauce didn't wow me. Somehow capers and tuna just didn't go well together. Ambiance is hip and trendy. Bring lots of cash for pricey food.

When we sat down we were brought the wine list and an amuse bouche of tuna tartare, which tasted quite fresh and set a nice tone for our evening. We started with the Burrata and truffle salad and the homemade foie gras. Both had wonderful flavours and and textures. As our mains we had the grilled Veal with potatoes and gravy and the Le Tigre qui Pleure: recette Thai. The latter dish apparently translates to "Weeping Tiger" and it was so tasty, we could have cried. The steak was perfectly cooked with delicious sauce and spices and a came with a hearty side of sautéed vegetables. My veal was the best I've ever had. The meat was so tender and paired well with the mashed potatoes and jus. Delicious. To finish the evening we decided to split the Speculoos Tiramisu. It was light and creamy and disappeared way too easily. Only thing I wouldn't recommend was the La Poussie Sancerre, which is the strangest red wine I have ever had. Our bad for ordering without asking questions! Hope to return.

The starter was nothing but a mountain of cheap, salty meats and cheeses, that came straight from a discounter package. The absolute low light however were our risottos (Paella style and Gamba/truffles) which were huge portions of bland, salty, fake flavoured, cheap, disgusting, and lastly embarrassing rice microwave packages that left us sad and out of far too much money for this lazy and dissatisfying experience. 1/5 would absolutely not recommend to anyone.

As this is a seafood restaurant, the menu is as expected, with a large number of fish and seafood options. We got "frito misto" as an appetizer - that was excellent in all ways - size, taste, and price (€15). The dish was more than enough to share for 2 people, and it could easily be a full dinner for 1 person. My entree was a bit disappointing. Not so much in terms of taste, it was not bad (not amazing either) , but I asked our waiter for a recommendation and this was his recommendation which I think was based strictly on price (more expensive). Keep in mind that the restaurant has an excellent selection of desserts (except rum raising ice cream- that was very sad). Good friendly service.

My client chose this restaurant for our business lunch; my colleague and I arrived early and we…read moreasked the waiter (may have been Manager, and was apparently the only one that spoke english); in french if he had an English menu we could review. His response was "no, we don't like English people". At first I thought he was kidding and laughed it off, but it became very apparent he was not kidding. He went on to tell us that we should speak French and then he said "he doesn't have time for this" as he had other customers inside. I was beside myself with how rude this man was and honestly he put an absolute negative affect on my feelings about Nice and the French people in general. The French have a bad reputation for being rude and while I've been there several times and 99% of people are perfectly nice, this was the most appalling behavior from any restaurant employee I've ever encountered. Needless to say, we took our business down the street to the most lovely restaurant named Leedy's. They were quite friendly there and we had the most amazing lunch and bottle of wine. So, if you're "English" please avoid this restaurant and take your business elsewhere!
