I'm not into soaps or cosmetics, but I was absolutely captivated by this place. It's completely unpretentious but the peddle high quality wares. The shop owner suggested I also buy this other soap that looked like a rock. Basically, it is an exfoliating soap that is probably the best thing I have ever used on my body ever! I only bought 2 bars and now I am regretting not buying 100 of them! Other than this special bar of soap, this store is a hidden gem and you should try to find it if you are there!!

We came to Manosque after spending a pleasant afternoon in Bandol drinking rose (sadly the winery…read morethat we visited isn't on Yelp, so we're unable to sing its e-praises). We had a bit of time to kill before our 4:30 tour--you need to call ahead!--and spent it in their lovely garden and shop. One of us only ever uses their hand creams, and they had a wide selection of scents here, so we bought a whole bunch to bring back as souvenirs. The tour itself was well done because you get to see all different parts of the factory and hear about their history, process, and philanthropic work. Overall, not too propaganda-y. (The labs are "secret" so you're not allowed in that part. Eye roll.) Our only complaint is that the tour was too long--the hour felt verrrrrry stretched out. Otherwise, we had a nice stop here on our way to Valensole. It's a pretty incredible company with an interesting history.
