Once it was made obvious that we did not speak French, the wait staff handed us English menus after being seated which was a surprise and a nice reprieve from using Google translate to help us order food. While we joked a little that this place had an Applebee's vibe, the food was in no way comprised had it been a regular "American" chain restaurant. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes...everything was delicious! My chicken was moist and easily pulled apart but the mashed potatoes were the highlight of my dish! I should have gone back a second time during my trip just for those! The four stars was actually due to service taking much much longer than we had experienced anywhere else however having worked in the food industry before there could have been a number of reasons as to why.
