A real disappointment. We were looking foward to this lunch, and at these prices it should have been enjoyable, if not memorable. Sadly, it was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. First, the food. Nothing special, and in some cases, dried out and lacking in flavor. Second, the service. We travel often in France and don't expect fawning, American-style service. But we do expect the food to arrive hot. We also expect the sauce to arrive with its dish and not 20 minutes later, despite repeated requests. We also expect the right dish, which two of our party did not get. (And we speak French, so it's not a question of poor translation.) Finally, we expect something better than surliness from the staff. But their overall attitude can best illustrated by my telling you that the door slammed, VERY loudly, every time someone came in or out of the restaurant, and every diner jumped at the noise. How hard would it be for management to notice this and do something about it? The answer is, not hard at all, but they don't seem the least bit interested in the customer's experience. It's get 'em in and get 'em out. I cannot recommend this restaurant to even the most enthusiastic Van Gogh fan. read more
