The decor is clean and classy and we were seated in the library. The tables and chairs are very low and I'm 6-1 so it was pretty awkward. By knees hit the table unless I put them all the across to where my partners legs were. We had a few glasses of wine, haricot vert appetizer, sea bream and and a pasta dish. The app was interesting but the friend quinoa was so hard that it almost hurt to eat. Texturally it was odd but the rest of the fish was quite pleasant. The pasta main was decent but didn't have any pizzaz. The pasta was home made and while rolled a little thick it was still pretty tasty. The filling was good but again nothing that was singing in my mouth. The sea bream was a bit over cooked and a little fishy. The seasoning with mint was pleasant but not enough to salvage the rush. All in all fir $100 euro I thought that the food wasn't great. Even at $50 euro it still wouldn't be great as the lack of execution and concept was pretty grim. So why 3 stars. The extra stars are all for the service which was really pleasant.

It is a quaint restaurant and lounge, reminding me of being in someones home. The food was delicious, and served in surprisingly large portions. Although our waitress spoke very little English, and my wife and I no French we managed to make it through with wonderful food at a decent price. The oxtail and foie gras tureen is a must, and the black pork was huge with very familiar flavors. My wife had John Dory, we left full and very happy.
