Then we went for dinner at La Grange and were so impressed that the village had a such a high quality place that it tipped us in the direction to buy. It's really of a caliber that it wouldn't be out of place in a large metropolitan city, yet it has the cozy friendliness of the Minervois area. The food is wonderful and the menu varies according to what's in season, the owners--Aijuna and Jeremy--and the staff are friendly and welcoming, the live entertainment is fun, the cocktails are tasty, and it's a beautiful space. In addition to the main restaurant, there's also a small, cozy wine bar and in the summer, there's a lively tiki bar in the back garden. I can't recommend it highly enough. We feel very lucky to have such a great place in our village and whenever we have people visiting us, I make sure to take them to La Grange. They're never disappointed.
