Waiter took forever to even approach us to "greet" us. Sat at our table for a good 10 to 15 minutes to even get a menu and our drink order (there was only us and another table). Got my wine order wrong (and we never got a wine menu), I ordered an antipasti for myself, which I never got. My husband tried to order buffala mozzerella and prosciutto, but again, he "recommended" something for him and didn't even listen to what he actually wanted. I asked for their specialty fish dish, he "recommended" something and decided for me.. And I got calamari (overpriced at 15€ for small 8 pieces of calamary) instead after confirming with him that I wanted fish.
Husband ordered the bistecca which had a texture of a shoe sole and a sad looking salad for a whopping 18€. The waiter never came around to check on us, but he sure did serve the surrounding tables even as I am writing this review. Which shows how disappointed I am with the service. I thought maybe it was a language barrier, but the surrounding tables are also tourists and menu had an English section, however it was a very minimal English translation. However, he was friendly, which unfortunately does not compensate for the cons.
Also, as I am writing this, we have been waiting for our bill because our waiter still has not came to check on us, even to ask for a coffee. P.S. Our menu is still on our table. Husband and I are the easiest people ever and it makes me more disappointed that it got us to the point that I had to write a review about it. Even more disappointed especially reading all the other positive reviews. Such a let down.
We finally get our "check" which was a brown piece of grocery bag paper with only "60€" written on it with no itemized list of what we ordered. After we spoke to the waiter, he misunderstood an item we ordered and our total actually was 49€. read more
