I especially loved our mojitos which had a ton of fresh fruit garnishes and ingredients. The octopus and fried chicharron taco was probably my favorite taco ever. So tasty, handmade blue corn tortilla and the chicharrones added pops of fat. The tuna sashimi dish was also excellent. I got the aguachiles tostad which was sizable and fresh though my mouth was on fire by the end. Highly recommend.

The front view from the main road looks like greenery and difficult to see it's a restaurant. The best part about that is that is where the outdoor seating is and you feel like you are out of the city in a great cozy spot with loads of ambiance. Service was great, waiters were attentive enough. Food was good, I wouldn't say great. We were a party of four, two adults and two kids. We appreciate they have a few vegetarian options and ordered the cheese enchiladas, three different tacos, chile renello and the queso fundido. Tortillas were plentiful and the salsas were very tasty. The "chips" they gave us when we sat were from a big Tostitos bag and obviously store bought not homemade like most places, this surprised me since the first time I got chips in Mexico that were from a bag...we don't even get these in USA at restaurants (always hot or fresher ones). The stars of our meal were: Arroz y Frijoles (yes, the rice and beans were better than our meals). My sons Enchiladas with verde sauce were all our favorite and had a good flavor. MY favorite of all was my Margarita Tamarindo, the best one I have ever had! If i wasn't so full I would have had 5 more! haha. This restaurant has been around for a LONG time and I can see why, I appreciate the veg options and I will surely be back everytime i'm in GDL. A must try!

Second the food was very good. The quality of the meat is what you would expect from a good steakhouse in the I ited States, far supeior to what is typical for mexico. Fresh bread and served with butter! Only the second time I have been served butter in a restaurant in Mexico. Great deserts, made in house, the creme brulee was done right and a great experience. Our second favorite restaurant in Guadalajara and second favorite steakhouse in Mexico. Great experience!
