In our time in Voiron, La Trattoria has been that restaurant. During our first 1-1/2 weeks in Voiron, we have had four meals at this restaurant. Every meal was exceptional. The pizzas are out of this world and the salads are delightful. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. However, the best part of La Trattoria is how warm the staff and patrons have been to a couple of Americans who can barely speak French. Upon entering the restaurant we are greeted as old friends. When you are thousands of miles of home, this is a wonderful feeling. I wish I could transplant this restaurant back in my hometown of Portland, Oregon.
