As I said, I wasn't feeling well, and I can't remember what my partner got, although I know she was quite happy with it. 5 stars is mainly for the super yummy salad that I sadly wasn't able to finish.

The service was prompt and friendly- the menu quite extensive. No way could I give this restaurant 5 stars (the entrecôte was so fatty! and my homemade black pepper sauce is better) but the food was plentiful and good. Definitely recommended. The town itself is picturesque and charming for a stroll (with or without some shopping). Seemed to be family run and the prix fixe menu was composed of four delicious options for appetizers, four main course dishes and four desserts. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked to order. We accompanied our meal with a reasonably priced bottle (€8) of Cidre du Normandy. Our tab for our family of four including the cider was €63. A steal given the awesomeness of everything we ate. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

The chicken salad is very different from ones I have at home, with tomatoes, mushrooms, green beans, bell peppers, lettuce, and other greens. It's definitely a large meal for 4 people but we couldn't stop eating until every platter was cleaned out.

Food options were mainly written on small chalkboards around the restaurant and you'll find cheese & charcuterie, traditional things like galettes, and various other items - similar to a brasserie there were items like lasagna on the menu and it was house made & quite good. There were a couple small tables on the sidewalk and then seating for probably 20 inside. Service was very friendly, though we arrived early so it was just the [presumed] owner and it probably helped that my wife speaks French pretty well. It's definitely a local place, but that's why you travel is to find great little places like this.
