Baptist Health was founded in 1960 as a faith based non profit hospital on North Kendall Drive…read more They are head quartered in Coral Gables and have now grown to 11 hospitals, in Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. They have a network of 4.500 physicians and 28,000 employees and they treat more than 1.8 million patients a year. I recently needed imaging and I am so glad I chose Baptist Health. It was easy to make an appointment with them and best of all I didn't have to wait weeks. They got me in quickly and were able to take care of everything I needed on the same day. The location in Coral Landings II was very convenient to where I live. They also have a Baptist Urgent Care next door. I was sent a text before the appointment and was able to complete the necessary information which really speeded up my check in. On the day of my appointment I showed up 15 minutes ahead of time with my paperwork. A few minutes later they took me in. Once I was dressed and ready I was taken in for the procedures. Medical appointments are not my favorite activity but everyone here was very nice, caring, and gentle. I was offered blankets and water. I felt like my comfort was their top priority and also important to me, they valued my time. I especially appreciate the care Cora took with me during the mammogram. I need another test and based on my experience here today, I am going to book it with Baptist Health.

The location was very clean as soon as we walked in she was called in to get checked. Robin was the nurse that took care of my mom and she was super sweet and asked my mom a lot of questions to be thorough. Dr Koch was very thorough and ran some test as well. The parking is free and close to the urgent care. There was relaxing music playing in the background. Everytime I go here I always feel like everyone is thorough and quick. This location is only open until 9pm, I wish they were opened until midnight like most of the urgent cares.

In their defense, the 2 employees that were there were nice enough. However, after a 45 minute wait past my appointment time, I was led in to the MRI room. It took the tech no less than 10 attempts to slide the bed portion in to the machine. (Not due to my size at 135 lbs). I ask if everything is oK. She says I am not sure what's going on with this machine been giving her problems. So I was already concerned. She throws a headset on so they can give me breathing directions. These also don't work. She can hear me, I can not hear her directions. I am raising my feet to get her attention. I said let me out, I am done here. She says I can go to another machine IN COOPER CITY. I asked for a receipt stating that no tests were performed so that I don't get billed. They had nothing to give me. I'll pay the extra for peace of mind, professional office, and feeling confident that my test will be performed properly. That will not happen here. *****GO ELSEWHERE**** I failed to mention....my MRI was WITH contrast and without. Every other facility cleans the area, inserts the port, flushes the port, then holds it in place before being placed in to the machine. This way once the without contrast is run, they simply inject the dye through the port without me having to exit the machine. NOPE, not this place. No port was ever inserted. At this point, Thank God because they clearly had absolutely no idea what they were doing. So, really, poor equipment and poorly trained employees.

She was in the process of training a former NICU nurse (I missed her name) who was transitioning into an L&D role. They were both compassionate and patient, especially as this was my first child. Victoria allowed me to hold on to her while the anesthesia nurse inserted the spinal anesthesia. I was the biggest baby because I hate needles, but Victoria's patience never wavered. Once the baby arrived, Victoria quickly grabbed my phone and took some amazing photos of the baby, dad and I. I was then transferred to the maternity unit for a few days, where I met Marshelle, my day-shift nurse, and Donna, my night-shift nurse. I also met Dawn for a few hours on my last night there. I was blessed with consistent, excellent care. Donna was truly one of a kind. She has 25 years of experience, and it showed. Her care for both my newborn and me was exceptional, reflecting her expertise. Her calm, laid-back personality and attentiveness to my baby made a significant impact. This was my first child, and I couldn't have been more blessed with the experience. P.S this is my providers preferred facility to deliver and I see why.

After a frustrating night without sleep and chronic pain and fatigue I decide that Northwest HCA is not where I'm going to receive the level of care I expected. So i ask nurse to preñan AMA release. 7. Still no MD shows up. Nurse explains and I ask to speak to an MD. Nope, that's not happening at Northwest HCA. DONT LET THE PRETTY LIGHTS AND SHINY FLOOR FOOL YOU. Northwest HCA is not about care and service and communication. It saddens me the lax employee culture. Sloppy and inattentive busy on their cell phones. Just pay attention to the first contact with checkin security. Eating potato chips, relaxed and chatting.

Besides being extremely knowledgeable and professional, they are very caring and patient. I've been to this facility several times and every time that I've gone, the technicians have always answered all my questions, educated me on what was going on and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The facility itself is also very clean, comfortable and equipped with state of the art equipment. I was also seen practically immediately and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes before I was seen by a technician. Such a nice change from the typical 30 to 60 min wait at many doctors' offices. You don't feel like a number when you're there, you feel like the people there really care about you and have your best interest at heart. That means a lot to me. Double thumbs up!
