Let me mention that this is a VERY rural area, so I called my insurance company and they said it would be an hour or more. So I took a chance and called Rachel's. The man working there said he was so sorry, but he was the only one working today and couldn't leave the shop. I understood and thanked him anyway. While preparing my six year old for a long wait in the 90 degree weather, the man from Rachel's called back. He had called a friend and was sending the gas with him. I was so excited. The man arrived almost immediately and after the gas was put in, the car wouldn't start because I guess I had let my kid watch the DVD or something like that. He offered to drive back for jumper cables and came back lickety split and got us on our way. On the way to Rachel's, there must have been at least three or four gas stations, so I don't know why they are listed. Anyhow, I hugged the sweet gentleman who went out of his way and the went to the office to pay the fee. The man fiddled his fingers and I thought this is going to expensive. He finally said, "Is $15 fair?" I told him it was a bargain and offered to pay more, but he wouldn't take it. So,while I couldn't fill up there, he made it possible for me to get back on the road and fill up somewhere else. Hospitality at its Southern best! If you ever need your car fixed, I'd definitely recommend this place.

But, out running errands. At least it happened before I did shopping, and had perishables with me. Being Sunday, and in a small town, I was surprised to get an answer when I called Pittman's Towing. Originally, the guy on the phone told me about an hour. And, even though it took a bit over 2 hours, everyone was very courteous, and friendly (to date, the nicest business that I have dealt with in Mville, GA; reminds me of what Southern hospitality is all about). Well, it it took them over twice as long as told, why did I give ''em 5 Stars? Simple. Not only did the driver take me to the Toyota dealership, he brought me back to my apartment, which was 7 miles in the other direction! And, at a cost far, far lower than I was expecting to pay (had expected about $100.00; it was only $50.00 :-o 8-) ; However, don't hold them to that, as mileage and time will effect the price).

The first time they moved a 48 ft container under a power power line. Expert driving, loading and placing that container in the exact spot! No one else we called would do because of that power line. I called them again yesterday. A man bought my car. He He gave the Vette too much gas and went over trailer stops! He called AAA. Then sent a flat bed wrecker, a pickup and three strong men. They would not touch the job! Insurance they said! I called Old Capitol Wrecker Service for the guy. There in 30 minutes. He did an EXCELLENT job, safely lifting that 30 year old Vette back in place!
