This business has a number of different arms to it, and we experienced the olive oil tasting and…read moretour. In a word, it was excellent!
The whole experience took something like an hour and 30 minutes, and included a tour of the grounds, a discussion about how olive oil is made, a tour of their processing facility, and ultimately a tasting where we got to taste 12 to 15 different olive oil and balsamic reductions.
The lady who gave us our tour was very nice and seemed like she knew a lot about what went into olive oil making. We got to see some cool old buildings as well as olive trees that were a century old.
It was a great place to pick up stuff for friends and family back home as well.
We had rented a car and drove here, but they offered to pick us up in their van, which eliminated any excuses to not make it!
This is well worth your time and a cool activity that is very region specific.
