How many people review doctor's offices? When you have a chronic condition and go see your doctor…read moremultiple times a year you get a very good feel for how good they are. I've watched this practice grow over many years. They have probably doubled in size, added doctors and nurses, expanded their building. Recently they opened their own endoscopy center attached to their building - no more going to a hospital to wait in line and pay exorbitant fees. You make an appointment, drive up to the door, and they whisk you away. If there ever was an emergency are fully prepared so expensive hospitals be damned. I'm not sure how many doctors are part of their practice - perhaps 20? I see one of them regularly and have seen a few others throughout the years. All are equally competent and knowledgeable. Their practice is friendly and warm and really show how much they believe in both quality of care, and the happiness of their patients. If you ever do need so see a GI doctor, this is the place in the Northwest suburbs to go.

They would not contact her for me. Insisted I see someone else she booked for months. I've worked medical field over 30 years. The provider should always have slots for sick or emergency visits. The billing is a nightmare. My son went there and they billed out of network and trying to threaten him go to collections due to thier inability to correct there mistakes. Left messages for manager to call me. Never did. Ill call one more time before I report them for billing fraud. I'm about ready look for another practice. Too many issues.

I will say the change to Endeavor was not positive for NCH. It used to be such a wonderful…read morehospital. Had zero problems and only praise before Endeavor acquired NCH. But now under Endeavor, I can't quite recommend. The hospital food when you're a patient and require overnight stay has definitely downgraded. They used to actually make the food--baked real muffins, cooked real food on stoves. Everything now seems like it's prepackaged in a steam/microwavable bag. For our most recent L&D my husband thought "they can't ruin rotisserie chicken." It was like skinless, boneless chicken breast that they microwaved. Possibly seasoned. But that does not make it a rotisserie chicken--the rotisserie implies it's been spinning in a rotisserie oven. Literally after giving birth, the muffin and cottage cheese I ordered were prepackaged like something you buy at a gas station, and in a little tiny plastic 1/4 cup. After laboring and delivering a human. The hospital is pinching pennies. And after having called over the phone to pay our bills and ensure that our balance was paid, we are still receiving bills saying we have a balance. Every few months later we get new ones. What is this scam? We did have great nurses. That's probably the only good thing about the hospital--but even they have to change their care routines to fit into the expectations of a for profit hospital now compared to before. Such a shame.

Since Endeavor bought Northwest Community Hospital some things have changed. Since the purchase,…read moreI've used their lab and their emergency room. There have really been no changes to their lab. You can walk in with lab orders and they will take you in the order of check-in time. Their phlebotomists are good, and results come in quickly. As for the ER, they seem to have a lower staffing level. I think part of this is I heard they are no longer a trauma center. If that is the case, I understand their reduction in staff. As with most ERs, wait times can be outrageous. I brought someone in who was in terrible pain - 10 out of 10 on their scale. How much pain you are in doesn't seem to matter in their triage. We waited a very long time before we were finally taken back. Once in an ER room, the service was outstanding. The quality of the nurses and the ER doctor were top notch. When we left, the medical issue was resolved, and although it is cliche, we had service with a smile. Aside from the wait time in the ER, Endeavor seems to have kept the quality of care up to par.

My first appointment he made me smile when all I wanted to do was cry because I had been dealing with my UC for so long. Right away he came up with a plan of action and since then I have optimistic about my condition Understanding how a person goes about their day to day is important when treating them. He is always positive which helps when your in pain or just have a horrible day. He is knowledgeable and always makes sure I get in as soon as there may be a problem. He truly goes above and beyond and for that I am grateful. Nicole, my Infusion nurse has also been my rock through this whole process. She communicates with pure kindness. She responds to any message I have to Dr. Qazi in a rapid matter. In all honesty I can go on and on about the Staff. Never has there been a time where I didn't feel like I didn't belong.
