The surgeon was skilled and made the experience much better than I expected. I would absolutely recommend and return to this doctor. Keep in mind, I expect complete professionalism, patience, and inclusion in my care. I am hypervigilant about cleanliness and kindness to preserve my physical and emotional well-being and that of others. Therefore, I pay attention to EVERYTHING. Lol From the moment they open their doors, this office is busy with patients. I am sure this is because it is one of the few surgery centers around that accepts many forms of insurance, including Medicaid. Despite how busy this office appears, the lobby was clean and orderly, and the ambiance was as nice as any regular dental or medical office. It is in a well-appointed, modern building, with technology for scans and viewing. However, it could use a larger waiting room (since many patients were waiting along with me). There was a TV for viewing and reading materials. The patient room was clean and comfortable, obviously well prepared for the doctor to enter. I mentioned the office being a Surgery Center earlier. I think some people may confuse it with a regular doctor's office when they complain about wait times. This is a center that performs surgical procedures that require anesthesia and precision. If you were being treated, I am positive you would want the surgeon to take his time with you, too. The office is run professionally and in an organized manner. They even have access for patients to complete all paperwork online before their appointment. They remind you several times by phone and email about your appointment, and the staff are all great during the visit. I had a 12 pm appointment and was called back by 12:45 pm. Dr. Simoncic was a joy to meet. He explained my condition, educated me on the options, and discussed why he would take a less invasive approach for me. He also offered another treatment I had not considered, and I opted into it. I was out of the building by 2:15 pm after scans, seeing the doctor, and a final treatment plan consultation. My experience at Triad Oral Surgery was more than enjoyable, especially given that Dr. Simoncic is currently the only surgeon on staff. That's right. He is juggling all patients, and they are still managing a thriving surgical center. That is commendable. I would recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery.

My initial consult on 1/19 itself left me unsure about them. My dental insurance is through delta given via the Atrium Health hospital system. They NEVER give us an insurance card for this. Even when i worked there. I don't know how many times I had to repeat this fact to the lady at the front desk. That alone was getting me to the point where I was close to saying F this and just leaving and asking my dentist to refer me somewhere else. She was talking to me like I was a child, because I didn't know specific information THAT I DID NOT HAVE SINCE DELTA DID NOT GIVE US AN INSURANCE CARD. But now the big kicker is a bill that I've received THREE MONTHS AFTER MY EXTRACTION, saying that we owe almost $3000 out of freaking no where. We were told that we only owed $600 and some change after insurance, so that's what we payed. and now all of a sudden we're getting a bill (which says late, but how is it a late bill if WE WERE NEVER INFORMED ABOUT IT) that says we owe almost $3000. I'll be calling in the AM to learn more, but this has tanked any good feelings I had about this business. They would never get any sort of recommendation from me to anyone I know.

My first visit was a consultation, like it says on the site, and they worked me in for a cleaning too since there was time (woo!). Throughout the cleaning, the hygienist explained exactly what she was doing, what she could see I was doing well on my own, and what I could work on better (and WHY it mattered and the effect it was having on my mouth). I was shown several cavities which I neglected to make an appointment for (they did offer, but I was in a rush). Second visit was just a cleaning, but equally fantastic. We discussed the hygiene habits I started and dropped, some problem areas, and she also told me exactly why I was likely having the problems I was having and what could resolve them. We also discussed my outstanding fillings for my cavities, and explained what could happen if I pushed it off for too much longer. Also got a little lesson in enamel, dentin, and nerves and how that works in. I just LOVE everything about Aspen. My teeth were neglected in childhood so playing catch up as an adult has been a nightmare, so I am so grateful that the team has taken the time to talk me through the what/why's/how's of dental hygiene, plus other factors. It's unlike any other dental experience I've had in my life. I know several reviews have mentioned pricing. Any time they have recommended a service or product, I got a quote. I knew exactly what I would be paying for before they started/scheduled the service. I scheduled my cavity fillings, was told what the price would be, and paid ahead of time (that's an option, not a requirement). So that's nice. Seriously, love this place and the care they take.

I passed on that. They screwed up my insurance billing and I had to call and go into the office to get them to bill my insurance. Assurance was that they would not charge anything for a first visit. Six months after the visit I received a bill for charges in excess of usual and customary. I'll mail a check and find another dentist.

She understood and put me on oxygen and a heartbeat monitor, then another nurse came in and all she said was 'm putting your iv in then poked me. She poked me twice before the doctor came in because she couldn't hit a vein. He poked me 5 times and still couldn't hit a vein. Then another nurse came in and tried and still couldn't hit a vein.
