The insurance company refused to pay the difference without documentation. They were never able to explain/document the increase to the insurance company's satisfaction. Their measurements, for instance was one of the things the insurance company cited because they didn't "back out the space for the chimney" and amount of materials never lined up with the insurance company's estimate. It was a huge mess going back and forth with them and the insurance company. As a result, I ended up paying the difference. I have full replacement coverage and I wasn't supposed to pay anything out of pocket, but it didn't work out that way. The insurance company was never able to get satisfactory documentation and they finally closed the claim.

It took the subcontractor 5 weeks to finish the siding job and we have lost siding at least 6 different occasions. They did provide an 8 year warranty. Yes I said 8 that is not a typo. But after the third time we lost siding Gary Handy blew off our request for repair, Erik Salazar finally sent someone out to make the repair. All in all we have had siding come off in the same spots a total of 6 times. Replaced aluminum siding with vinyl siding and their salesman, Preston said it would hold up better than the aluminum. Now that we are demanding they make a permanent fix Mike from the Yukon office all of a sudden is saying they don't know anything about siding. I give them one star because it is mandatory.

After that first conversation I felt calm and like I had finally found what I was looking for - someone who could take it from here. We hired IBEX to replace 29 windows in our home. Our house was built in the 1930s but the windows were aluminum and probably installed in the 1970s. We knew when buying the home in 2020 we'd need to replace them, but after one year of holding them open with books, ice inside, condensation that caused the paint to warp on every sill, and one that straight up leaked when rain blew in from the west, we decided in early 2022 it was time. We are so thankful we found Ricky and Raymond at IBEX and took the leap. We easily trusted them and their recommendations. The windows were installed to perfection, even though upon removing the old ones, we found that the wood had warped and rotted, and the wood had to be replaced and the windows had to be rewrapped. Two years later, today, I contacted Richard MacArthur this morning, to check on some issues and talk about moving a downspout.
