Instead, while in downtown Rochester, I decided to top my car's gas tank at this Holiday gas station. This Holiday is just off South Broadway. It's a nice, large gas station with pumps in the double digits. The convenience store looked massive! I didn't need to go in. I like when U.S. gas pumps accept Canadian credit cards. The one that I used did not prompt for a ZIP code. All went well. I simply had to insert it and enter my PIN. Holiday is affiliated with Cub Foods. I got prompted to enter my Cub rewards card. I don't have one, so I skipped that part. I was thrilled to have topped off my car's gas tank. The area around the gas pump that I used was clean and great. The only downside was that each pump has a screen that plays ads. Every one was saying something that it does get noisy. This gas station is spacious. A Rochester bus was parked off to the side, likely taking a break before going back on its regular route. It didn't block any vehicle coming in and out of this gas station. Almost every week since February 26, 2026 I asked the Pharmacy in person about the status of my prescription, I was told the same thing: your doctor didn't respond to our request. They also promise me that they would fax the request to my doctor again. On April 26, 2026 I went to the Pharmacy and talked to Cory. He told me the same thing. I asked him to show me the fax number they used to fax their request to my doctor's office. He told me he couldn't do that because the fax number was private information. I also asked him to show me the record of how many times and on which day the pharmacy contacted my doctor's office. Cory told me that the pharmacy had more than four hundred customers and it would be impossible for the pharmacy to follow up each request. I told him that Mayo Clinic perhaps had more than four million patients worldwide, but Mayo never told its patients that they could not check anything for their patients. Cory then said he had to close the window because it would be lunch time for the pharmacy. It was ten minutes to 2:00pm. If I remember correctly, lunch time for this pharmacy does not start at 2:00pm. Obviously, Cory was trying to rush me away. My experience with this pharmacy has confirmed the negative reviews about this Walgreen Pharmacy online: rude, careless and unprofessional. Who dares to put his or her health into such bad hands?
