I went in for chicken (5:30pm) they had maybe 1 small chicken grouping - when asked, "Sorry, we turned our friers off at 4pm" ?? 4 pm I'm thinking what about the dinner crowd? I have to say all Kwik Trip stores have become very in consistent about their fried chicken availablity. I went to 3 stores once and then just gave up. I'll go elsewhere from now on - suggested Pizza Ranch. I my husband just brought me a latte this morning 11/12 - and yes its warm, as was his hot chocolate, warmed them up in the mircowave here at work. No repair to their machine apparently.

First of all the like moved fast and I noticed the patrons leave with smiles and a happy attitude. Not until I got to the counter and was helped by Kayla did I notice why. Professional, friendly, kind and funny al wrapped into one. And to boot she had this done in under 1 minute. It's amazing a person with this great personality can make so many people's day! And made mine even better, from being in a great mood already. Kayla and her coworker today, 11/14/14 at 10:19 AM, epitomized what Don and Steve Zietlow taught me when I worked for them years ago! However, I don't recommend the ground beef that is currently available. Advertised at 80/20 ratio on the packaging, I'd really question the validity that statement, as the cooking process reduced the burger size by 50%! By appearance it was obvious that a pink colored filler was added, which resulted in a lot of shrinkage of the patties when cooked. The product also lacked in flavor, also due to the cheap filler in the mix. Bottom line, POOR PRODUCT in general. In fairness, I could see there was a secondary piece of plastic film over the product after I peeled the KT label off, leading me to believe that KT just puts their label on as a distributor and is at the mercy of the supplier of this nasty goop. I'm not going to purchase this product again, and would rather have the "inconvenience" of going to a different store for hamburger, instead of the disappointment of this stuff.

Bathrooms were clean enough. The soda machine was out of flavor options (the only caffeine-free fountain soda at the KT chain is lemon-lime, which bores me to tears and I tend to pass on unless I can relive my childhood with some cherry flavoring and turn it into a Shirley Temple). I like Kwik Trips in general, but this one might not quite be worth driving off the interstate for.
