I dont mind if it slightly more expensive but as I know nothing about cars I just want them to be honest with me as to the problems with my car. So far Newent auto centre has caused me no problems at all. they accept credit cards. The only small issue I have is that it is very difficult to find somewhere to park your car when droping it off. I usually end up leaving it in the middle of the forecourt and they move it but i would prefer some extra room.

Not easy to find though as they are tucked away in a row of units and not seen from the road, but as they deliver (business and residential) that isn't important. I have found a number of the different bus drivers to be very pleasant, and always helpful with putting luggage below. I do, however, have one or two minor complaints of these services. 1) They don't run often enough, particularly on a Sunday. There are only between 1 and 4 services in a day, and this can be very difficult to work around. 2) The prices have gone up VERY significantly since I started using the bus a few years ago.

Despite a few attempts from the local garage the fault kept coming back (after we spent quite a lot of money...). A quick google and I found that C.A.R.S are relatively local to me so sent in a web enquiry on a Sunday afternoon. Ursula called me on the Monday morning and after an we had a chat she booked me in with Mark for the Friday morning (the only day I had off that week). I met Mark and he quickly discovered what the issue was and set to fix it. Mark explained about the fault and showed me where it was which will be very handy for the future. During his work Mark realised the (cheap) bulb the garage supplied was at fault so replaced that with a quality one, he also noticed a tracker device installed on the battery which we had no idea was there! From start to finish Ursula and Mark have been brilliant, the fees for the work are reasonable and I have already been recommending them to friends and family. If you any problems with your car electrics please go straight to the experts rather than a garage, you'll save yourself time and money! Thank you Mark and Ursula, I hope not to have to contact you again about my sons car, but I suspect another fault will no doubt appear!

So after searching for the right battery on their site it returned a price of £193. When it was fitted and I went to pay, I was very surprised and disappointed to be charged the £193 + £40 for the 20 minutes it took to swap it out. Groves Batteries website should be far clearer about the fitting charge.
