I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

This is the only place in Maricopa that does regular facials so I'm glad I had a great experience. The prices are fair; a classic facial is $85, blackhead extraction is $15, and eyebrow wax and tint is $45. My classic facial (50 mins) included multiple cleanses, an exfoliate, a mask, facial massage, neck massage, enzyme liquid, toner, ice treatment, moisturizer, and lip balm. She used a strong suction machine for my nose blackheads and also did some manual extractions. They worked really well! She made sure I felt comfortable the entire time and checked in on me for every application. I love the way my eyebrows turned out! It was my first time getting a tint so I was nervous about the results but it honestly looks SO GOOD. It looks like I applied makeup. I love waking up with already done eyebrows! One more step I don't have to worry about when I do my makeup:) I love how passionate she is about her job, and I enjoyed our conversation during our session. She even texted me product recommendations so I can start a nice facial routine for my skin. I can't wait to start :) Overall, I definitely recommend this place! It was very easy to make an appointment through email, actually. The place itself is a little bit difficult to find for your first time because the GPS just kind of drops you off in a plaza. It is to the left of Bashas and right next to an Italian eatery. The woman who did my eyebrows did a great job. What I loved is that she listened to me. I'm asking for something very simple, just to clean up in a little bit and do some shaping, as I usually do a good job on my own and just kind of need help shaping every once in a while. She listened, and I couldn't believe the price when she told me. $12. I will take that trip any day for $12 for an eyebrow! There is no bathroom so if you have to go to the bathroom go to Bashas like I did. She told me that she was new. The place itself is cute, pretty simple.
