The voice of the last frontier! 1240 AM This radio station is on the AM dial, and serves the Big Bend region. Due to the long distances between anything, FM doesn't rightly serve this area. KVLF has local news, weather and traffic. I believe you can also tune this in at 92.7 FM. This station seems to be more conservative than others in the area (Looking at you, NPR Marfa!) They seem to be Texas-centric as well. They tout news across Texas, and keep things local. They also tend to lean towards Texas musicians as well.
