Right now, she is still new at this location so with limited clientele, she remembers how I like my hair. What else can you ask for? While getting my hair-did, I chat with her about her kids, or watch the daytime talk shows on UPN or whatever antenna-vision channel she has tuned in to for the day. Every once in a while if I'm not in a hurry I will splurge and pay a few extra bucks to get a wash. I think she only charges 4 or 5 dollars, and it's definitely worth it. Don't let the name Sport Cuts fool you. First time I went I expected a douchy or super-cutsy vibe. Couldn't be farther from the truth. It's just a nice, quiet little room and a stylist trying to make it on her own. If you don't have a regular place you go to, and are near Edmond, check it out. One word of advice. Bring cash. She charges me about $15. I don't think she accepts plastic. I never carry cash anymore. But I'll happily hit an ATM for a Na's sport cut!

I went in with my husband and 20 month old son today to get the kiddo's hair cut, and I met Judy…read more She was very sweet as was the stylist who initially began to cut my son's hair. He threw a tantrum like I never imagined, and Judy tried to step in and do a tandem haircut with the stylist. My son was a MESS! The stylist whose name I don't know, sadly, stayed focused in spite of my son's meltdown and did a great job cutting his hair. The results are adorable even though the process was terrible. None of the employees seemed disapproving or frustrated, though my husband and I both were. We were so flustered that he forgot his new (to us) iPhone. We didn't realize until we finished running errands over an hour later. We went back to the salon, and they handed it right over. (I wasn't really concerned that an employee would take it, but I figured another guest might possibly take it.) Judy's looked after us! $12 for a child's haircut is a great deal. It's not as great a deal when you have to leave a huge tip because your child is a basket case. I HIGHLY recommend this place for children's haircuts!
