A few tips and tricks for those visiting: They ask you leave your backpacks and purses downstairs in the provided lockers. The elevator system isn't great, and will always stop at the lobby, no matter what you push, so it's a time consuming process to use it. The restrooms look like they should be pull doors, but they're actually push. It's the oddest thing and the honey and I were both tripped up by it. Overall, we both really enjoyed the museum, much more than the famous Prado, and would highly recommend stopping in if you're visiting Zurich, especially if it happens to be a Wednesday.

It's also one of the least-expensive thing you'll do in Zürich. Yes, it isn't a huge museum, but the entrance price is ultra-reasonable, with discounts for students and seniors.

The little kid in me had so much fun playing on the swing. Most importantly, this is one of the few places in Switzerland that actually has AC!!! So if the heat wave hits, and you need to cool off, come here! Took one star from them because there was a military related tent displaying old documentary, except the display has fresh red paint that's not dry. There were literally four other individuals viewing the exhibition so it was not crowded. We were immediately accosted by a gruff female employee who demanded that one of us stay outside of the exhibition space with our toddler who was sleeping in her stroller. There were no signs stating that toddlers or strollers werent allowed. As we have lived here long enough to know how to deal with the rude and pushy swiss german we firmly told her "NO!" And continued on our way. She evil eyed us as we left but didn't dare try stating anything else. I won't go back.

After enjoying the art, including several interesting mixed-media pieces, and appreciating the design of the floors, walls, and stairs, there's a wonderful cafe where you can sit, discuss the art, and soak up the ambiance.
