The report they provided was excellent detailing critical issues and those that were notable but not urgent. The report was 75 pages with photos identifying the issues. It was a very rainy day so they couldn't get on the roof to inspect but were able to climb up and take photos from many angles. The checked many things in the house, outside and underneath the home. The men showed up on time and were very courteous. I highly recommend them.

Contacted Koolau Roof Tech for an estimate to rejuvenate my shingles. Kirt came by and provided an…read moreestimate which included photos of areas in need of pre-treatment (Loose nails, torn shingles, etc.) that was included in the price. I decided to go ahead with Koolau and scheduled a treatment date. Unfortunately, bad weather (Rain/wind) made the job challenging with the possibility of overspray to my neighbors. Kirt understood and wanted me to be comfortable so we rescheduled. Treatment day finally arrived but with some moderate wind. The job should have taken 2hrs but Kirt was on the roof for 3hrs using an overspray shield on the end of the nozzle which prevented overspray but limited the spray area to smaller portions at a time thus, extended the job time. Not sure other contractors would have been willing to sacrifice/extend their work time especially when the price was already agreed to. That's called integrity, as a professional, which is hard to count on today. I also received photos of the work done after treatment I'm good with the process and work performed.

Apparently there were many cracked tiles, probably when panels were put in, tenting and/or neighbor's avocados. He checked for this type of tiles and the color. Recommended extra tiles because not many in my color which I did want. Rob and his helper went straight to work for many hours (in the hot sun and no breeze) due to the tile being slippery, not to cause further breakage and must do one at a time). They then carefully brought in the extra tiles for storage. Very happy with the work of Rob and advice on the care of the roof.
