When my braces were being taken off, I asked again about the gap in my teeth not being closed and was told that it's not going to close. This is information that should have been provided before my braces were even put on as I never would have spent the money, time and endured the pain and discomfort for no results. I have had to have my teeth grinded down four times now for my jaw to bearably close and my jaw clicks every time I chew or yawn. These are problems I never had before my braces were put on.

However, he has always been a preferred provider, too -with our insurance, but for some reason he stopped taking our insurance on the preferred plan and didn't bother telling us he was doing it. Even when we asked several people in his office, repeatedly, to explain why all of our dental work was costing so much, no one told us. For seven months this went on with different dental procedures. When we found out the truth, we switched dentists, and to our pleasant surprise, the new dentist's prices are at least half of the original prices when Finlinson was taking our insurance.

After her filling cracked, we went to get a second opinion and found he did a HORRIBLE job. There is decay under the filings he did and insurance won't touch another dentist working on them for 3 years. LUCKILY.....THEY SAID THEY HAVENT DONE ANY WORK ON HER TEETH FOR OVER 2 YEARS.... (we were there last month). Really sad to see dentist hurting our kids and getting paid for it.
