There are 21 different reviews that Yelp "doesn't recommend". The reason they gave is that there were too many. Interestingly, they gave us $300 to advertise, which we accepted, and we had literally no phone calls from that advertising. Coincidentally, when we were done with the free advertising we opted not to pay for advertising and all of our reviews disappeared. ‍. When we called they said that there was some computer that reviews all reviews. Well, if Yelp would let me rate their rating system, I would give it 1 star. KuGar TKD is far and away the best place to learn martial arts in Laredo. The point behind teaching kids sport is the development of the character of the child, not the results earned. But the child has to strive to achieve excellence to learn the lessons. These guys get that. The reason they win and put people on National Teams is because they help develop character in their athletes. Show up on time. Have a clean uniform. Work hard. Support your teammates. Amazing experience! My daughter initially joined as an after school activity when the traditional class was offered at her school. Thanks to Master Jesse and Master Clarissa her confidence has grown and is now on the KuGar fight team. Great family experience, we travel as friends and family. Excellent school for Kukkiwon Olympic style taekwondo. I have two girls in the program. One is now a black belt and fights at national and international tournaments. The primary coach is Olympic quality, the assistant instructors are excellent and one is making a run for the Tokyo Olympics all through this school in Laredo. Stop by for a free introductory class, no matter what program you start on, eventually get to the fight team. You won't regret it. read more

I've been at this school since I was 10. I love it. I've always loved it. Nownimbin college but when I go back to lsredo I stop in and do class and I'm welcomed with open arms because they're awesome. If you want a place to teach your kids what martial arts are all about, this is THE place. If you want cheap, you'll need to g so.ewhere else. But you get what you pay for. read more

Great school run by great people. I have two kids at this school and I'm blown away how much they love it. Drop them off excited about class and pick them up drenched in sweat and ready to go back.
