Attorney Kuchinsky was genuinely sympathetic with my wrongful termination case and was the only attorney out of the dozen that I had called or emailed to explain exactly why my case would be difficult for any attorney to pick up. He gave me realistic next steps and made me aware of a short deadline that I could still make. Had it not been for him, I would continue to struggle calling around. He would be a strong attorney for anyone he can represent. Thank you Alexei! read more

As good as it gets indeed! As an old saying goes 'don't judge the book by its cover' my recommendations go for Alexei. Meet with him and see how you feel. From my experience Alexei was brilliant from the get-go, he is a young man who is very ambitious and true. He was very honest about the details and outcomes of the case. He was an excellent representation of my interests as a plaintiff. Another important factor for the five-star rating is his dedication and hard work. Alexei is a very professional and knowledgeable employment lawyer. I am lucky to have him as a friend and often refer to him for employment law and other legal issues. When my employer, an international IT company, were splitting in multiple small companies, I feared for my job and was confused about my legal rights and the company's obligations. I contacted Alexei and he took his time to explain me what my options were and advised me on how to negotiate a better employment contract with my new employer. He is passionate about employment law and takes pride in his work. If he does not have an answer for you today, he will have one tomorrow after an extensive research. We have a small family plumbing business for about 7 years now and just recently we hired a person who joined our company with the wrong intent. This individual started destroying our expensive equipment, mistreating clients and overcharging them. After 2 months this individual was employed with us and was payed over $13,000 we decided to fire him because he was damaging the company, but little did we know, he was doing all of this on purpose because he knew a loop hole in the legal system where he can sue us for thousands knowing that we would have a hard time proving anything against him. Sure enough he did just that, he filed a $150,000 lawsuit against us and because we are a corporation we had to retain an attorney. We found another attorney but $1,500 later we were unhappy with his lack of knowledge and not to mention he asked for a $10,000 retainer up front. I went back on Yelp and started reading about different lawyers and boy I'm glad I found Alexei. Right from the start, from my first conversation with Alexei I was convinced that this was my guy. The best way to describe Alexei in a simple sentence is "Alexei is an individual who is very smart and wants to help you to the best of his abilities and help you save as much money as possible" We set up an appointment, I met with Bill & Alexei, I was very impressed with the amount of knowledge both of them had about my case. They told me what to expect of the outcome before retaining me and gave me recommendations on what they thought was best for me. My retainer with these guys was only $5,000. I have been fighting this case with these guys for a while now and I can't believe that they have not used my retainer yet. Alexei and Bill are both genuine individuals who just want to help people and nothing more. Don't think twice, if you have issues, called these guys for a consultation. read more

Alexei is very professional, very polite, and was very understanding of our situation. Also, he is very straightforward and he let us know what the best course of action was, and whether the case had any standing or basis for a lawsuit. What really impressed us was his deep technical knowledge of labor laws (he was able to cite different rules and their numbers). Me and my fiancé will absolutely recommend Alexei to our friends if they are ever in need. read more

I had the misfortune of being in a situation requiring knowledge of labor law in California and was fortunate to find Mr Kuchinsky and his firm. I was *heard* for the first time by somebody who could, and did, help me. Me Kuchinsky and staff listened to, believed in, and fought for me and my rights while exhibiting understanding, compassion, and patience (with me; things were rough). I cannot recommend more highly Mr Kuchinsky. Working with him and his team was the only pleasant aspect of a difficult situation. read more

I requested that Alexei defend me in a very unusual domestic employment case. He thoroughly explained to me all the legal issues and specifics that were important to consider in building up my defense, as well as, laid out possible alternative ways of dealing with my situation. Having studied all the details and circumstances pertinent to the case, Alexei was able to develop a great strategy in conducting my defense. He possesses a great expertise and knowledge of law, as well as, pays close attention to human factors, nuances and hidden dynamics of the case. Alexei's responsiveness and timeliness are superb. The rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend Alexei to anybody who needs to deal with legal issues in the area of employment law. read more

Never responded! I needed help in an issue dealing with the San Francisco VA. I wrote, called and was hoping for a return call. Nothing. I ended up fighting by myself via my own "nest egg" and sort of won but sort of lost. This experience had played a great deal on my mental health that even after two years, I am still suffering from. It's a big shame that so-called attorneys will not be there for the underdog who did go through the whistleblower program but ended up being known and therefore had retaliation done against her. However, in the end, the major problem was removed but at the cost of one's health. When attorneys are supposed to be there for you, the employee do not believe it. If you really need a good attorney - -good luck. i would never suggest this one. Not a mensche. read more

Alexei worked on two of my cases and both were successfully resolved. Unfortunately, I was owed wages and had no choice but to seek legal advice from an employment attorney. My friends recommended Alexei; I was told employment law was his specialty. Alexei met with me; explained my options as well as the litigation process. Both cases were difficult and highly contested. After more than a year of litigation; many hours of legal work and negotiations, Alexei was able to resolve both of my cases.
