Besides the normal souvenirs such as magnets, key chains, jewelry, and t-shirts, there are Fresh Flower Lei ! If you need a snack for yourself, there are Maui Macaroons, banana and mango bread from 4 Sisters Bakery, and cookies from The Maui Cookie Lady! If you prefer prepackaged trail mix, gummy bears, and coconut candy, they are here, too! Other cool items are the local soaps and lotions, jewelry, fresh pineapples, travel pillows and blankets, and cuttings from tropical plants so you can grow a hibiscus plant and plumeria tree in your backyard! While waiting for a family member at their appt, I went window shopping to check it out. Sad to see this place has fallen like other major malls across the country since covid & looking like a ghost town. The only anchor store left is Macy's. Their food court on the 2nd floor has dwindled to just a handful of choices: L & L BBQ, Panda Expess, Pearl Korean BBQ. There's also a pretzel place on the 2nd floor but near the Fun Factory. Downstairs was a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and a Mexican restaurant. But there still are some other popular stores like Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret, Ben Franklin, & even a Cat Cafe where you can play with cats for a fee or adopt. Still a lot of empty store spaces advertising for lease. The mall itself is a beautiful mall to walk thru. It's open-air with a tarp like cover that lets the trade winds blow thru. Ample parking with a huge covered parking structure in the back. I enjoyed visiting this mall, it was just sad to see it half empty.

They are located at the Maui Tropical Plantation and have a wide selection of items for souvenirs and gifts. Food products include jams, jellies, cookies, honey, spices, coffee, fresh produce grown on the grounds of the plantation, fresh baked goods and SO much more. They also have bags, soaps, lotions, teas, and other arts and crafts from local artisans and businesses. I came here recently to get some ideas for gifts as I knew they had a good variety and wanted to support local businesses. I ended up purchasing some cute swedish kitchen towels, cocktail mixers, and absolutely delicious macadamia nut butter made by Kumu Farms (the farm on property). Some things are a pricier compared to other stores (like jams and jellies) and can be found elsewhere for cheaper, so best to shop around. They do have items that are more unique and not widely available and the great part is they offer a 10% kamaaina discount. All in all, highly recommend this store for locals and visitors alike.

The cards are on the expensive side compared to a generic Hallmark or American Greetings card, but they are comparable to Papyrus or more high-end cards. A unique card from Aloha Maui Creations makes for a more thoughtful gift than a generic mass-printed card.

By far, U'i Gallery is my favorite gift store/gallery on the island! I never leave the store without purchasing some beautiful clothing and artwork. This year I even purchased her daughter, Honi-Honi's painting to grace my walls. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Mahalo, Rachael!
