I ordered an arrangement through Too Good to Go and while it was a gorgeous arrangement it was not what was advertised. The order was for a premium bouquet worth $60 and the description stated 15 premium blooms, what I received had a handful of premium blooms mixed into common flowers like daisies and carnations as filler. Again it was gorgeous but not what was expected. I'm not sure what the typical pricing is but if the bouquet I received is valued at $60 I don't think I would return.

I wish I could give Olin 10 stars because 5 simply isn't enough!!!…read more I came in looking for two bouquets -- one for my friend's birthday and one for myself with peonies. I told Olin that my friend has a HUGE personality, so I didn't want anything basic or ordinary. I wanted something unique, bold, beautiful, and worthy of her. And OMG... HE CREATED AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. The bouquet was STUNNING. Not just "pretty flowers" stunning -- it looked like a piece of art. You can tell Olin has an incredible eye, real creativity, and genuinely puts thought and personality into what he creates. He completely understood the assignment and somehow turned my description of my friend into flowers. And then there was my bouquet with the peonies... absolutely gorgeous. I happened to mention that it had been my birthday too and that no one had given me flowers, and this wonderful man gifted me a small bouquet. That little gesture meant so much more to me than he probably realized. Beyond being insanely talented, Olin is warm, thoughtful, generous, and such a pleasure to talk to. You don't feel like you're just buying flowers from him -- you feel like he genuinely cares about making something special for you. Olin, you are an ARTIST. Thank you for making my friend's birthday bouquet unforgettable, for making my peonies so beautiful, and especially for the unexpected flowers you gave me. You absolutely made my day. If you want a boring, generic bouquet, go somewhere else. If you want flowers with personality, artistry, and WOW factor, ASK FOR OLIN. I will 1000% be back.

Not being familiar with the area, I needed to send flowers to someone very special. After searching…read moreYelp, I chose this shop because of their excellent reviews, military discount, delivery options (including same-day and timed delivery), and the beautiful selection of arrangements. I initially looked into ordering through Yelp but only found the option to send an inquiry, so I completed my order through their website instead. The only minor issue I encountered was that I couldn't find an option to apply the military discount during checkout--perhaps it's only available with an account rather than guest checkout. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just something worth mentioning. Ordering was simple, and I scheduled the arrangement for delivery the next day at a specific time. Since I wasn't familiar with the area, I was a little concerned about whether the delivery location would be easy to find. Although there wasn't a live tracking feature, I received timely updates confirming my order, the shop's receipt of it, and the successful delivery. I also appreciated knowing I could call the shop at any point if I had questions, though everything went so smoothly that I never needed to. I couldn't be happier with the experience. Not only was the arrangement delivered on time--it actually arrived earlier than expected--but the flowers were absolutely beautiful, fresh, and healthy. Four days later they're still blooming and look fantastic. I'll definitely be ordering from them again and recommending them to family and friends. If you're looking for a florist that delivers quality products and reliable service, I highly recommend giving them a try. They've definitely become my go-to flower shop.

I know the secret with flowers is to get them from the flower district in DTLA. So, I started…read morelooking for a florist online and stumbled upon this place. Looked into Yelp reviews and found a review that pictured this exact wreath. Yes, I stole the design lol. This wreath wasn't pictured on the florist's website . I contacted the number on the florist's website and spoke to the owner. Showed him what I wanted and got a price quote. Explained all the details because yes, I am very particular (I.e., ribbon had to be printed not hand written). I did my entire transaction via phone and Zelled payment. The day of delivery I texted the owner to make sure everything was set and I didn't get a response so after two hours I called him and I was assured everything was set. Note: call, don't text these people. Upon arrival at the funeral home I was texted a picture of the wreath. As you can see, it's beautiful and doesn't look cheap. Kudos for getting this taken care of and not jacking up the price during Valentine's Day weekend. The ribbon looks professional. It arrived on time and held up perfectly from the day of the wake to the day of the funeral. My only complaint is that they omitted one "r" from my last name, but most people don't spell it properly, and when you're grieving, you don't notice things like that so I'm giving them a pass for that (I redacted my name on the wreath for privacy). If you're wondering, I had texted the owner with a very long message of all the details, including the correct spelling of my name. Típs: The cost of the wreath is separate from delivery ($35 to Rose Hills in Whittier) and the printing of a ribbon ($15 - free if you'll accept hand written, which I highly discourage you to do). Highly recommend this florist for your needs, especially if you want to save yourself some cash. The cost of this wreath on popular sites is easily twice what I paid. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't cheap but it was cheaper than contacting the well known florists.

First off he started with cleaning a table and sitting us down (other places didn't even bother to stop what they were doing). He then asked what date we needed the flowers( wedding-occasion) he didn't want to lead us on and deliver a half worked job If he was overly booked. Luckily he wasn't! We then went on by showing him what we wanted and the specific flowers. We wanted peonies but it wasn't its season anymore the wedding was in September so we just missed it's peak. He was very straight forward about the flowers and that he would try and get what we wanted but would let us know if he couldn't. Maribel is truly one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. What I appreciated most was that she genuinely wanted to make our wedding as beautiful as possible within our budget. Rather than trying to upsell every little detail, she was thoughtful, honest, and incredibly creative, always finding ways to maximize our budget without compromising the overall vision. She was also incredibly flexible throughout the planning process. As with most weddings, there were changes along the way, and she was always willing to adapt. Having a vendor who could roll with changes without ever making us feel like it was a burden was invaluable. Even my husband--who knows absolutely nothing about flowers--was blown away by Maribel. He loved working with her because she was so kind, genuine, and easy to talk to.  I didn't have a super detailed vision going into the planning process, but I shared a few inspiration photos and the overall feel I was hoping for. Maribel took those ideas and brought them to life in a way that was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Every arrangement felt elegant, timeless, and perfectly complemented our wedding. When I saw my bouquet for the first time, I was completely speechless. It was beyond anything I could have imagined--absolutely stunning and everything I didn't even know I wanted. Every floral detail, from the bouquets to the ceremony and reception flowers, was beautifully designed and flawlessly executed. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the flowers all night. On the wedding day, everything was delivered and set up seamlessly. I never had to think about a single floral detail because I knew everything was in Maribel's hands. If you're looking for a florist who is incredibly talented, kind, flexible, and truly invested in making your wedding beautiful, Maribel is the one. She genuinely cares about her couples, creates incredible floral designs, and goes above and beyond to make your vision come to life. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

It's another flower day…read more Yesterday was my wife's birthday. Back when we lived in Ktown, I used to buy flowers from Eighth Street Florist several times a year. They always did such a great job with their arrangements and service. But ever since we moved down to O.C., I've missed having a florist like this nearby. This year, my wife started a new job in DTLA--so I figured it was the perfect time to go back to Eighth Street Florist. I asked for a fresh summer arrangement to be delivered to her office, and just a couple hours later, I got a long message from her with photos, telling me how beautiful the flowers were. She was thrilled. The florist even texted me a photo of the arrangement before delivery and confirmed when it was dropped off. That kind of follow-through really stands out these days. It's so nice to be back with a florist I can trust. As long as we're nearby, I'll keep coming back here for every special occasion--or even just a random flower day.
