It's honestly like they hit "shuffle" on a 30-song playlist and just keep playing the same tracks over and over again. If you're into hearing the same 5 songs 20 times a day, then this station might be for you, but for anyone who wants some variety, it's incredibly frustrating. It's the same music every morning, afternoon, and evening. For those listening that want to bypass the main repeats at the 18-22th minute of every hour from this station then you can Miley Cyrus: Flowers, Luke Combs: Fast Car, Sabrina Carpenter: Espresso, Teddy Swims: Lose Control, Billie Ellish (Gasping for air), Taylor Swift (Cruel Summer) - removed from the rotation (lol). "Today's hits, yesterday's favorites" -- It's more like "today's hit, your favorites"

They go by San Francisco Community Radio these days, but it's still made up of the KUSF staff that…read morewas "exiled" by the University of San Francisco when the U decided to sell off their FM community broadcasting license (for a profit?) to a conglomerate from SoCal a few years back. They are no longer affiliated with USF, but they soldier on, bringing cutting edge music to listeners on the internet via a live stream and a series of podcasts. You can spot their events on the music calendar from time to time at places like Bender's in the Mission. They need support, however, so make some time to check them out and donate either time or money to their cause. You won't regret it. Note: A few days after this review was written, I signed up to do some fundraising for them myself. Hopefully, I'll be able to help them stay around a while longer.

They recently added a radio feature where you can listen to music based on the playlists of people who have similar tastes. Just type in the name of a band you like on their main page ( www.last.fm ) and they'll pull up a list of similar artists (a la amazon.com 's "you might also like..."). Always a good way to discover new bands, or rediscover old ones that you used to love and forgot about due to the flood of new music.

Just a minor correction...it's last.fm :)…read more Most of the features of Last.fm are free, however to listen to neighbors radio or your personal recommended station you have to pay a subscription fee. I've also read somewhere that many songs and artists are not available for live listening through last.fm due to copyrights and licensing rights of the artists, i.e. you can't listen to them if you are a subscriber or not.
