I want to start by saying that I love Bojangles Chicken. Hubby, a friend, and I stopped by the Clarksville, AR Bojangles. We ordered one of the big $50+ meals to go and then ordered a "deluxe" fish sandwich, an order of 5? chicken strips, and a chicken sandwich. The fish sandwich was just ok. The tomato was no where near ripe and they were stingy with the tartar sauce. The chicken sandwich was good. The chicken strips were chicken strips... kind of dry and needing a sauce. The friend had asked for 2 of their sauces (ranch and something else) and instead we got 3 containers of the Bo's Special Sauce. I, personally, love the Bo's Sauce but the friend didn't. I went to ask for more (i.e. other) sauces and was told that we'd have to pay extra for the sauces that we had ordered. So, not a great experience (plus while we were there, there was a person who said they didn't get their order... apparently one of the workers gave it to someone in the drive through and they didn't want to remake the guy's order because they had already made it once?) Anyway, we got home and opened up our $50+ meal. I think it was supposed to be something like 20 pieces of chicken, 4 sides, half a gallon of tea, and 10 or 12 biscuits. We had asked it we could get UNSWEETENED tea and was told that was no problem. Apparently, it was a problem because we got sweet tea which none of us drink. Also we got no biscuits at all... not even one. I tried calling but the number given is apparently for their headquarters (in Tennessee?) which was closed for the weekend (we went there on a Saturday evening). The chicken was fine, the sides were kind of typical fast food fried chicken sides (mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy, dirty rice, and some kind of beans). The dirty rice was pretty good especially if you put gravy on that. But no biscuits with the meal and no unsweetened iced tea was kind of the deal breaker for us. Yeah, we probably should have checked the bag, but everything was so nicely packed and the box was designed to hold the contents of the meal we ordered so we didn't want to take it apart. Major disappointment. I was really hoping that this would be our "go to" place for an occasional fried chicken dinner. I don't see us going there again.

Everyone seemed to know everyone since it's a small town and in the middle of nowhere. The whole experience was bad from start to finish. The waitress took our order and disappeared. To get a refill, we had to ask the assistant waitress, since all she did was refill drinks and clean tables. From ordering to receiving the food, the wait was about 45 minutes. The service was terrible, all the way around, to the point that at one table, two people's orders didn't arrive with the rest of the meal. They were completely forgotten. While looking around, the dining area is plainly decorated, with some antique and other decorations. I also noticed there was a dead walking stick on the floor (it's a bug and it's disgusting for it to have been left in the eating area). The staff wore masks but pulled them down anytime they spoke to someone. Social distancing was nonexistent in this establishment and mask-wearing was not enforced despite there being a sign on the door. The napkin holders, salt/pepper shakers and ketchup bottles were not sanitized between tables. After FINALLY receiving our food, the wait was definitely not worth it. My burger tasted like 100% char instead of 100% beef and the only thing that saved it was the BBQ sauce I ordered with it. My parent's chicken fried steak was as tough as an old leather shoe. The pinto beans were cold. The only thing good thing about the meal was the fries. I would give this place no stars if I could. Stay away from here if you have ANY health concerns, sanitation concerns, or just overall want any decent kind of dine-in experience. Apparently call-ins take priority over those already waiting on their food.
