There is nothing fancy to this restaurant/bar which stopped their clock on the 80's. Feels like dining inside a bungalow, but the difference is that this bungalow is glass encased and with AC! Wait staff is ancient too, very cordial and know their menu like their back of their palm.
Ate Batatas Portuguesas (freshly made kettle fried chips), fried cubed provolone, which were amazeballs! Forget moz sticks, heavy breading, Italian seasoning. It's just plain breading, very light, and cheese was oh-so gooey.
Drooling yet? I felt like one of those movies from the 90's where while in the 60-70's this family builds an underground shelter and live decades in it and only 30 years later came out to check post apocalypse. read more
