I found Tina at Krowning Glory wig boutique last year. Tina is so knowledgeable and is so incredibly helpful describing every detail of each wig she tries on in her live shows! Before finding Krowning Glory Wigs I went to a wig shop spending literally thousand's of dollars on wigs that the manufacturer tag was ripped out of. Ordered a wig here yesterday, accidentally checked out without using Affirm and immediately notified the vendor, asked to please refund and I reorder via Affirm, no respons, wth?Wait maybe she thinks I am trying to back out?NO WAY, this wig is my fav and discontinued, it's the third one I am buyin, why would she think that? Just in case offered to purchase another wig through Affirm if she would please refund the first transaction. I offered this because I understand maybe she thought I wouldn't actually complete the transaction and after not hearing back when I originally asked her to simply refund and allow me to rebuy & getting NO RESPONSE. Yeah well this got no response either. I have never dealt with a vendor devoid of any professionalism to the level of this one, she brags about how she will help with any issue and then ignored you?? A simple adult response of no, sorry I can't do that", for whatever reason would have been fine, but it's her complete lack of ethics that is so absurd, this wasn't a big deal. In the end the big deal is not responding. I rarely shop here, it's my last stop because her prices are higher than the other two bigger vendors, she just happened to be the only one with this wig, I was even kind and letting my friends know she had this in stock. The behavior on the live about this wig was odd like it was a secret but it had been on the site & fair game for purchase for over a day. STOP posting inventory you don't even have!! It's misleading that we have to wait for you to even get the item before it can ship. The facts are that she plays favorites and admits she breaks her own rules when she feels like it, which is absurdly unfair and reserved for her target audience, little old ladies reminding her to drink water. refresh lipstick and be careful with her back throughout the entire live, you know like a grandma, so if thats not you, then you aren't in the granny clique & apparently no customer service is provided at all. I actually should have stopped watching her after she was SO horrible to me because I made a comment about Gabapentin trying to help. she misread it and made a fool of herself going off about it because she is unbelievably hyperfocused on trolls leaving live comments instead of ignoring them. Maybe she should accept the fact she needs reading glasses, it's glaringly bad, the entire live is her squinting to see the screen so she totally misread my comment. People aren't stupid we all know that NO ONE sells wigs at MSRP, but here she says "it's a $700 wig ladies for $250. Crazy to try to sell this to educated consumers, all vendors take 30% off immediately. My advice to her is stop playing favorites, God doesn't like ugly. My advice to you as a consumer is to find a professional vendor, one with actual inventory, who provides customer service & doesn't behave like this. EDIT: Vendor notified of this review & sends attached, wrong cell #, understandable miscommunication. Simply bad practice to insist customers text, clearly she isn't tech savy, businesses email or msgr because no error msg is generated w/text. Instead of that resolving this,I would see the #, edit review, my opinion is now worse! She has notified me that as retribution for this review she canceled the orders that hadn't shipped. Obviously I knew it hadn't shipped, seems her business model is sit on orders when the product (inventory posts isn't in house) arrived days ago, ships an order I placed after the first. ‍ Says she wished she would've been able to cancel the second order but it shipped before this review. Amazing professionalism, revenge, cuts her nose to spite her face, "let me cancel a $500 sale because I don't like your review". Lady, if I cared I'd have waited, I won't be silenced to get a wig, I realize I am just used to the professionalism provided by Wigparty & Twisted Wig, better prices, not a single issue out of 97 wigs purchased in two years. I have used KGW only a handful of times, only bc price was lower but not worth this experience, WP & TW use email, msgr, don't post product they don't have, don't sit on orders for days, don't ship things out of order. Hey, KGW, email me (no text) & I will return the the one that got away, unopened, 20% restocking fee applies to refund due to inconvenience, as per your "restocking fee" (you aren't Nordstroms), despite "restocking" being just you taking it upstairs) You agreed to an exchange & tried to screw me, adding fee to an exchange (pic here) acting like it's your policy but not listed anywhere, what exactly are you restocking? BUYER BEWARE, buying here is a risk, she makes up policies to fit her narrative, especially if you aren't in the favored granny group. Vendors working out of their attic are just that, vendors, not professional establishments & should have policies as flexible as customers have to be, not cherry picking when what applies to who & when. This lady is a scam artist. My elderly mother accidently submitted a duplicate order and although I contacted Tina to cancel right away, she said there was no duplicate order. My mom received a second wig and although it was returned unopened, Tina has refused to refund her money. She offered her store credit that she didn't need. My mother is on a fixed income and couldn't easily afford a mistake like this. Tina could have done the right thing here but she's a thief. I found Krowning Glory wigs by accident. The woman who owns and operates this business, Tina, does live shows from her home shop every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 4pm to 7pm central time. You can find her on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram all at the same time. She also does a show on Wednesdays just on TikTok same time. Tina is a down to earth, friendly woman. She does her show alone no one assists and she is addressing 4 venues at the same time. She is lighthearted and fun to watch. I feel entertained. Her followers are like friends. One big group helping each other through the devastation of hair loss and beginning wig wearing. There is so much to learn about wigs, how they are made, what the wig cap consists of, what kind of fiber is used, how do I put it on, keep it on, wash it, style it etc etc!!!! Tina encompasses all of this in her live shows. She will answer questions and demonstrate anything you need. Just remember there are 4 venues watching and hundreds sometimes over 700 people watching and asking questions. She's one and can't catch each one. But if you need help she provides her personal phone number. After the show you can call or text her questions. Now does she sometimes miss your question? Yes. She's human and there are only 24 hours in a day. She runs this business alone,ordering from various companies, keeping track of her orders and stock, unpacking huge deliveries of wigs by herself, fulfilling orders, packaging orders, mailing them. It's a lot for one person. She only started about 18 to 24 months ago I believe and her business has grown quite big! This is because Tina does not look for huge profit. She sells by quantity of orders. These manufacturers of wigs off special sales to all the retailers. Tina passes her sale prices onto her customers. You won't find lower prices. I haven't. And on the rare occasion I do I message her and say hey Tina this is selling for whatever. She is happy to price match. On her live shows she pulls out one style of wig at a time and then puts on every color she has of that style. While on the air she will check the manufacturers stock to see if and when more are available. This is a huge service to we customers. If there is a question about color shades she will pull them to demonstrate. I like her shows because you can really see what a wig looks like and see her model it. The whole 3 hours we viewers and Tina will get into conversations like "hey Tina, what kind of makeup do you wear. It's beautiful!" And she shows us and tells us where she buys it. We get into discussions about health issues and meds we take and offer advice back and forth. It's a woman to women show filled with kindness, laughter, fun and education on wigs! I have purchased many wigs from Tina. Shipping is immediate if she has it in her stock or it may take a week or so if it has to come from the manufacturer. Her business is set up so that you receive an email confirmation of your purchase, email when it ships, email when out for delivery and email when it is delivered. When I turn on Krowning Glory Wigs it's like coming "home". I can't think of a better retailer. All of the wigs she carries are high quality deluxe national brands. Tune in and see for yourself! have purchased several wigs and have had issues every single time and customer service is awful!!!! you can text Tina and she will just stop responding to you and ignore you. then you have to keep texting to get anything taken care of. Will tell you she ordered your wig but then it won't come and you check on it and she says she ordered it at a different times than she had already told you she ordered it so she lies about placing your order.
