Not only do they have a huge selection of burgers ranging from standard (for example the "Eezy Cheezy" Burger ) to strange ("Down Under Burger" topped with sliced beetroot) but you can "upgrade" every burger to come with an Angus Beef patty instead of just a normal one. I can't say that I cared much for either the appetizers nor the salad, but, man, their burgers are good. Not considering the burgers, my review would probably be around 3 stars, but since they are really good burgers I felt 4 stars to be more appropriate.

But all the hotels in Zurich are really expensive, and the Sonne is charming AND... If you walk up the main street, and follow the stream called the Tobler, you come to a ravine trail that is wonderfully Swiss. The waterfalls are sculpted, there are arched bridges over the stream, and this time of year there are teams of civic workers in the forest valley blowing away the leaves! (Even other Zurich residents think this is a bit much.) Up and down is about 15 km with 220 m vertical, and just a great way of working off your Zurcher g'schnetzlets mit Rosti!
