This Kroger location is pretty solid and a fav of mine! It's quite large -- easily the largest Kroger in the area featuring all the staples along with the specialty stations from cheese, bakery, seafood/meat, sushi and of course, a Starbucks. It also has the gas pumps, so it's super convenient. The service here is top-notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they make checkout a breeze with plenty of registers open. Even the self-checkout is well-managed, with multiple associates on hand if you need any help. The shelves are stocked, with a fairly larger selection than most other Krogers nearby. The meat and bakery departments have a good range of fresh and prepared options. The store itself looks great, with a modern design that feels fresh and clean. The layout flows really well, so you don't feel cramped even when it's busy. I don't make it to White House often, but when I do, this Kroger will definitely be a stop! read more

Imo the best place to shop for groceries overall in White House TN. Every department is sufficient. Rarely does Kroger not have what I'm looking for. This location is easier to navigate than Walmart, and more affordable than Publix. My favorite thing is to watch the price roll back with the Kroger Plus Card The final straw to the debate is they have a Starbucks, game over, Kroger wins. read more

My wife placed and paid for an online grocery order at this location, and when she arrived, they told her it had been given to another customer. This is actually the second time in the past year this has happened. Instead of fixing the problem right then, she was told the order would have to be repicked and that she should come back later. After already waiting around 40 minutes, she ended up just requesting a refund--which will now take several days to process. When the manager came over, rather than apologizing or offering solutions, he complained that he "didn't understand how this could happen" since they have "four safety measures" in place. That may be true, but it did nothing to help my wife, who walked out with no groceries, wasted time, and zero effort from the store to make it right. No substitutions offered, no priority repick, no courtesy credit--nothing. This kind of service is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. In this case, the customer was left inconvenienced and frustrated, and the store showed no urgency in fixing their own error. read more

We visited this smaller store, with a friendly touch. Stopped here for gas, while driving through the Tennessee. The gas here is extremely cheap, just $3.15 and while here we picked up some road snacks. Kroger - Front - Grocery Near Me - White House, Tennessee

This is about on par with the Kroger on Nashville Pike in Gallatin---not as good as the Kroger Marketplace near Station Camp. The parking situation here at the White House location is far better than in Gallatin but the layout is worse---things are simply in odd places that results in a lot of back-tracking during a typical shopping trip. That said, it's clean and stocked with plenty of variety especially of note are the meat and produce selections. read more

On multiple occasions I have been let down by this customer service desk. Usually I am trying to find out if they have an item in stock or ever carry an item. I understand if my request is too unusual for CS to even know how to respond, but I have found that if you call CS in this Krogers who you are calling is a operator to redirect your call. They have never helped to answer my question themself, at least at this Kroger. Furthermore if you are going to just redirect me about bakery, I don't understand how sending me to a well meaning, but uninformed, man in deli helps at all. read more

I LOVE my neighborhood Kroger. The people are awesome, it's clean, and I know where everything is. BUT... their pharmacy is one of the worst I have dealt with. They are super slow and not helpful. I moved my prescriptions from Walmart to Kroger to get more points but I honestly don't think it's worth it. They should really do some evaluation in that department. read more

Never thought I'd be writing a review about a chain grocery store, but since it was already reviewed I thought I'd add a little more info. The produce is completely hit-or-miss. One day you can go in there and it all looks great, another day you wonder why it is even still out on display for sale. Avocados so mushy you are scared to even touch them without bursting through the skin, carrots completely limp and lifeless, mushy tomatoes, rotting ginger, soft jalepenos...... Several times I've gone in to buy boneless skinless chicken breasts and there were absolutely none out. None. No clue why not, but on a Sunday mid-morning I would expect to find a standard item that would be on most peoples shopping lists each week. The other chicken items were moved around to take up the boneless skinless chicken breast spot so it was if they didn't have any to put out. Watch your receipt here! I'd say that with about every other shopping trip I've had to go back because of items that rang up wrong or coupons that weren't scanned (I may have at most 3 or 4 coupons per order so it's easy to see on the receipt afterwards if they were all scanned or not). One other note, even though White House is relatively small, there are peak times when the store is busy and lines at the register are common. If an additional cashier opens a lane it would be great if they would pull the *next* customer waiting rather than one from the end of the line, but that just doesn't happen. With all that said, the store is always neat and clean and The Little Clinic is very nice to have available. I've actually used it twice in the last year or so and the nurses have been very helpful and professional. read more

It's a shame the Kroger's is such a nice store but the pharmacy is the slowest in the state... And no one at the pharmacy seems to care? I will go back to Goodlettsville Krogers as they are always compassionate and quick it's a shame I could drive all the way from White House to Goodlettsville and still get my prescription filled faster? read more

For a place that seems to be located out in the middle of nowhere, this place is a mecca. They have an excellent produce section, a decent selection of meats. There is a pharmacy and a Little Clinic. They also have free coffee for the adults and free cookies for the kids back in the bakery. read more

Super markets aren't exactly on my list of places to review, but this one is stocked with local employees and they are all very pleasant. The store and bathrooms are kept clean. The gas station in the lot needs a curb to mitigate traffic issues and stop people from zipping across the lot in and out however they please, it's dangerous. Besides the potential car wreck out front, I prefer this market over the Walmart neighbor. read more

Just moved to area & bought rice at this Kroger, had bugs in it. Took it back, went to the shelf & all of the rice in that brand had bugs & was out of date. Today I bought bagels, even though they felt soft, brought them home, mold! They went out of date yesterday (which I didn't see) & they weren't on the clearance rack. It unfortunate that all Kroger aren't the same. This Kroger Deli doesn't have even half the hot stuff for ready pick up. I spoke with the attendant and he said that he couldn't make and order of 20 boneless chicken wings. There weren't any already made. He said that they don't make stuff for the hot deli. I don't understand why have a hot deli if you only have 2 things in it. Plus if a customer is asking for a large order why not make it for good customer service. I would've gladly waited the 12-18 min mutes for the fryer. Too Bad White House Kroger I guess I'll go to the fast food places next time for my quick dinner stuff when I'm in town. I have had good and bad experiences at this store. My biggest gripe is the use of the Uscan after 10pm. Unfortunately there are those of us who lead busy lives and their days do not end at 10pm every day. I have been told that they will open a regular check-out if a customer has a large order after 10pm instead of having to run it all through the Uscan. The problem is that they never seem happy about doing it and never does the Uscan attendant offer to do this if they see you roll up with a cart full. It is this reason that if I have a lot I need to buy after 10pm I will usually just go to Walmart since they have regular checkouts open. If it is just a few things or during the day I will choose Krogers. It would be hard to tell just how much business they may lose from others because of the same reason. The only other thing I have noticed is, and it is not just at this store only is that most of the employees seem miserable at their job. I do however get this same impression at Walmart also. Maybe something needs to be done to improve moral in some way in these jobs. That being said, the store is always clean and the selections are good. read more
