Already left a 1 star review on google no one cared no one tried to fix things. I refuse to go now but was brought home a rotisserie chicken. Now I am baking what is sold as a rotisserie cooked chicken because it's bleeding. You all need to fix things immediately it's embarrassing. read more

Probably would recommend going to another closeby supermarket. Get used to self checkout because only one register is usually open. At least 75% of the Prices are higher than food lion and martins for some reason. Hard to find certain items that are not expiring within the month. Items often in the wrong spot. Not shopping here anymore. read more

Kroger on Arch Avenue has been a stable on the east side of the City of Waynesboro for many many years. Recently, it seems they have done subtle changes to the store and layout. There is a great amount of parking along with a small gas and convenience store in the parking lot. I do think they could use more employees on the the floor but there a couple employees that have been here for years and always available if you need help. Anytime, I'm on this side of town, I use this Krogers. read more

Kroger - Isles - Grocery Near Me - Waynesboro, Virginia

On May 20, 2025 at approximately 10:30, I wet into Krogers in Waynesboro Va to pick up a prescription. I purchased my prescription and started to leave the store using the self checkout isle. One of the ladies that typically does the bagging was pulling a cart with a case of soft drinks, I stopped to let her pass and proceeded to walk in that isle, suddenly I slipped, fell and hit the tile floor hard. The case she was moving was a carton of drinks that were seriously leaking and there was a steady stream coming out and onto the floor. I sat there on the floor a bit and another Kroger employee lady came over to see if I was Ok or if she could help. There was man standing behind her and she asked him if he could help me get up, he looked at her and then me and turned and walked off. I sat there for a bit and then I was able to get up, the lady got me one of the mobile ride on carts so I could sit down for a little bit. The guy was standing there and I asked her who he was and to my amazement she said he was the assistant manager. I then asked him if he was going to document this incident and he said yea but didn't move, I then said then why don't you write this down, then he told me I didn't need to be rude, I fell in his store, he does nothing to help me and I'm rude???? According to several store employees this assistant manager is a real total jerk. read more

Pickup at this store has become obnoxious. Items are marked as out of stock or aren't substituted when they are available in the store. Coupons can't be taken off the order because 25% of the order can be missing when it's right there in stock in the store. I've been given moldy bread and have found expired products on the shelves. Please don't shop here. read more

This is not the nicest grocery I have ever been to, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in convince and price. This is the closest grocery for a lot of people in the poorer side of town and while some may be quick to dismiss this location for that reason, I think it is preforming an incredibly valuable service. read more

i really like kroger as a grocery store and their products. but the checkout process is horrible. i will not use self check out if i have produce to be weighed or have a full cart of groceries. of my last 3 visits 1 time there was 0 cashiers, 1 time there was only 1 cashier lane open with a 25 min wait, the 3rd time 1 cashier lane was a 35 minute wait. so i go to walmart, food lion or aldi for all MY GROCERIES. I ONLY GO TO KROGER FOR THE 3 ITEMS THAT I CAN ONLY FIND AT KROGER. IF THERE WERE MORE CASHIERS I WOULD BUY AT LEAST 50% OF MY GROCERIES THERE. read more

I am an avid Kroger shopper. This has always been my favorite store to go to in town. However, I've been extremely disappointed the last 4 times that I've been to the store. There are no shopping carts to use. I understand once, maybe twice, but this has become "the norm". It makes me want to turn around and go shop elsewhere. read more

Here today and great service as usual. Smaller then my Kroger I normally frequent, but the staff has went above and beyond here many times! The pharmacist Greg Tolbert is so nice and always finds me discounts and has a very pleasant attitude. Great customer service from him every time. More then once Iv had a shopping cart attendant help me load my groceries into my car before taking my cart away for me as well. Another time during a night visit I had a very...odd encounter w a very odd person. A guy was following me around and was very obvious with snapping photos and saying weird stuff and complimenting me, a store employee noticed and while checking out he and a manager came and spoke with me apologized then walked me to my car and watched me drive off. They don't always have the items Iv needed but Iv always felt this is a great store. read more

Overall the selection is pretty minimal, but I will ALWAYS come here for some specialty items. This is the only store I have found in the area that carries some of my west coast favorites: Tillamook cheese, Crispin cider, and Rainier cherries. They also have one of the best beer selections around. Granted, the front end staff may be a little...eh... but the stockers have always been very kind and asked me if I need help, what I am looking for, and then walk me to where I can find the item I am seeking. read more

I've shopped at Kroger for a long time and like the specials they run. Most of the employees are nice. I give this a ONE STAR because of an employee Benny they have working in the seafood section. Who always seems to have a problem. When u ask to have sea food steamed. Even more annoyed when u buy a lot. Hummmm I thought stores WANTED you to buy stuff. I personally bought a home steamer so I wouldn't have to deal with the attitude in the store when I ask for it. This past weekend I was not trying to cook at home. I know some of the shrimp and crawl fish is already cooked. But you have to steam it to re-heat it!!!! When I asked for my food steamed. He told the young boy at the counter to tell me yet again "it's already cooked". He even went as far on previous visit. To tell me it didn't take that long. N how I should go about cooking it at home. Then made me wait forever when he finally did decide to cook it. I don't like to blast anybody but this has ruined me ever buying seafood there again. I've worked customer service jobs in the past. N I would never treat a customer the way he treats people. read more
