I love krogers. I shop there probably 3-4 times a week. Don't ask me why so many times. It's next door so we find ourself in there a lot. The only complaint I've got is that awful self checkout they just added. Is it your first time watching Star Trek or something? Whoever designed that should be fired or should have to be the person that stands next to it to help customers. It's terrible. It would've been absolutely genius in the 90's but, it's 2023. You took up 6 perfectly working self checkouts to put in a sectional couch with touch buttons. Do better Kroger. read more

The click-list aka order online and come pick it up is HORRIBLE! We called when we got there, like you're supposed to do, and an hour later... nothing. We called again after 40 minutes and they said "we don't know what happened, we'll be out there shortly." My fiancé went up to the door and asked to speak with a manager after an hour... they said it was in the cart to come out but only one guy could deliver the stuff to your vehicle. To make matters worse, I'm 8 months pregnant and had to go in to pee twice while waiting! Pick a different Kroger for curb-side pickup. read more

This seems like a well visited store. We're in the area dog sitting and needed grocery's. We stopped on in , got one of their savings cards and got most of the things we wanted to make during the time we're here. So nice to have a store with nice looking produce to pick up. We'll head there again if we need anything else. read more

Compared to other Krogers, this one is quite good (though, let's face it, they aren't Publix). Typically, they are trying to rid themselves of checkout operators with the self service equivalent. Thankfully, they employ people like Laurie, to make this process easier and to help brighten customer's days. But, it's Easter. My wife bought a leg of lamb because I'm an Aussie and we eat lamb at Easter and we celebrate the arrival of the Easter Bilby because we think rabbits suck. So, to the leg of lamb. Bullshit! It's hogget or mutton, but, unless the US is wildly using growth hormone in it's animals, this is definitely not lamb. Just for the sake of it: Lamb is a cute, cuddly, wooly little bugger that tastes really nice when it's cooked. Note the use of the adjective 'little'. The lump of meat my wife arrived home with, is definitely from a sheep, but it's a bloody big sheep and not, by any Oceanic description, is it a lamb. Have a look in your kids' story books. There will be a lamb. It will not be the size of a small cow. Shame on you Kroger! read more

The customer service is absolutely the worst,with people in line the cashier just out of nowhere announced she was closing customer service for 30 minutes so she could eat. I understand the concept of a service dog but when the dog has no service dog vest on and the manager has a totally bad attitude toward the situation it's just overwhelming,almost flashed out on his but.,won't be back and that's a fact!!! read more

My wife's account got hacked and groceries were ordered without her consent, instead of helping her clear up the problem Kroger decide to block her account. This is another example of corporate bullying that is prevalent in America. We're happy to give our business to Walmart. Not to mention the service and level of competence at this grocery store ranks worst than the Mexican super-mercado's in Springfield. They won't attempt to resolve anything because they feel there's no competition. read more

the very disrespectful assistant manager was absolutely useless. due to someone messing up the schedule the deli was left with no employees. no sign, no one there saying the deli was closed. they let customers line up waiting for service and once another customer got the assistant manager. she was very disrespectful and simply turned around and walked off. someone like that should never be even an assistant manager. read more

My issues are with the online ordering. They always seem to send us the Roughest most beat up produce. Milk that is almost out of date. Every Item is close to the Use by date. Some items we have received are past use by date. I congratulate Kroger on finding away to push these items out of their store before it is a financial loss for the Company. read more

Came here and pulled our brand new baby and two year old out of the car to get everyone sandwiches. Sign posted on the sandwich area states it's open until 7pm every day however we were told at 520pm that it was closed already. So now we are dinner less and have to pile our kids back in the car. Not happy. This is the second time the sandwich counter has been a problem so it doesn't get a third chance. read more

I just arrived to Springfield, Tennessee after a 14 hour drive from New York City. I stopped by at Kroger's to do some grocery shopping. While in the store, I saw a great sale of wine bottles. So, I grabbed a few bottles of wine. When I went to the checkout to pay, Jacob, an assistant at the checkout helped with the bottles by giving me a reusable bag for free to carry the bottles more carefully. But, Jacob's outstanding assistance didn't end there. To my surprise, I have left some sushi to go in one of the plastic bags at the cashier's station. Jacob came outside all the way to where I have parked to bring me what I have forgotten. Definitively, this was an excellent service. Jacob's service was caring, that I can say I felt like home when shopping at Kroger's. read more

This is the closest Kroger to where I live, and while I appreciate that the store is trying to improve what it offers and remodel the place, the way that they have kept it open and re routed people through the store has been the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. A year of moving stuff every day- you go in and the aisle that was there yesterday is gone today and good luck finding it now, especially if you ask a staff member, they are just as confused and pretend to know where things are then avoid eye contact. Over all, I appreciate that this tiny town Kroger thinks it needs a Starbucks, a sushi bar, a cheese bar, an olive bar and a wine shop, but I've now gotten used to the Kroger in west Nashville on Charlotte, just as close and stuff doesn't move around every day. read more

Very handy and on a whim I purchased some flowers which not only lasted weeks but smelled and looked great in my office! Smelled so lovely that I had to return and buy all the women in my office one each. They loved them. read more

This Kroger (Springfield, Tennessee) has had the worst customer service of any grocery store I have been in for several years now. NO ONE offers any help, as they do in Publix, where you cannot walk 20 feet without someone offering assistance or asking if you need anything. There are a couple of very nice people at the cashier's area, one of them is named "Beau", but the rest are ignoring you and talking about when they are going on break next. The managers are the worst: they do not make eye contact or acknowledge you in any way, even when you are standing within a few feet and are obviously looking around for something. There is a pandemic going on and none of the employees are required to wear masks, and I never see any cleaning going on behind the cashier's stations, just in the lobby where someone is cleaning the carts (which is good, but wow! they need to step it up in other areas).If a virus that can make you very ill or even kill you just by breathing close to someone doesn't convince you to take things seriously, what will?? You can be a carrier of coronavirus and not even have symptoms yourself but can give it to someone else. KROGER MANAGERS: DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT THIS?? read more

I shopped at the Kroger store in springfield tn on Memorial Blvd. on 6/30/22 and went to pay for my groceries for the amount of $241.45. The cashier scanned my check then asked for my Driver License. Cashier scanned that and then called another employee over and then he asked when the last time I wrote a check at that store. I told him it had been a while and he proceeded to tell me that they use a (third party) (Certegy) and they were the reason it was declined and told me to call that company. Got home called Certegy, gave them the information and they told me "It was Kroger's guidlines for my check getting declined." I called Kroger and talked to a Manager which proceeded to tell me it was Certegy, which I explained to him They told me it was his stores guidlines according to them for my check getting declined. Manager tells me about writing a check within 7 days and some crap about the amount had to be under $250.00 (IT WAS) so he had no answers either so I ended up calling Corporate since they want to pass the buck. read more

UPDATE: I had previously given this location 5 stars. Unfortunately after discovering the mistreatment of one of its valuable employees, Armond Street, I am highly disappointed at the unprofessionalism of this location. Mr. Street was accused of an incident, having no evidence to prove his guilt, no surveillance, but only hear say of a disgruntled employee. Management of this store is questionable and exemplified a lack of leadership. Mr. Street is a college student with great potential and courteous to the patrons; apparently, Kroger management prefers to employ individuals who lack leadership skills which is a bad representation of the organization. The corporate office needs to reevaluate the culture of this location to mirror professionalism. If management believes a lie concerning an employee with no evidence or surveillance, how will they treat customers who spend their money should an incident occur. Personally speaking, there would be explaining to do with my attorney, the court system, and all local television stations.This lack of leadership is the primary reason for low scores in all areas. If management and disgruntled employees cant be trusted, can we trust the food? Possibly not. Maybe it's time for News Channel 5 to make a surprise visit. It may be a smart idea to rectify the issue since it has now gone viral. read more

Store is nice and clean. Food options fine. Only turnoff is some of the kid cashiers seem to have attitude, especially if i want to bag my own groceries using my cloth bags (which i do myself, saving them from doing their job). I guess in about 10 years kroger (corporate training) will get a clue about what other state's do regarding environmental issues. Not sure if i will return to kroger, or at least not to this location. read more

Food is frequently outdated. Price tags on shelves are often wrong and you end up paying more. I returned an opened carton of shelf stable coconut milk that was curdled. A month later while shopping there, I saw the same opened carton on the shelf. They put it back on the shelf after I told them it was bad! I know it was the same carton because I marked the date on it with a red sharpie so I would know when to throw it out. read more

The only reason I give this Kroger two stars is because they have a natural foods section that has a fair variety. The produce section is seriously lacking in both organic options and quality. Unfortunately since the produce is always questionable I can't make this a one stop shop because I always end up having to go elsewhere for things I need. The last several times I have visited this store the lettuce was slimy, and other produce was just as bad. Please get it together Kroger! read more
