I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! Very friendly, helpful and caring of their customers. A gem to find while staying with family for a bit. Highly recommend!

I love to support local and they are usually very fast to fill scripts. Unfortunately, after my…read morelast experience we will never use them again. I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

It would be nice if mask wearing were enforced... and if the employees would all wear them…read morecorrectly. This "half-masking", wearing it over the mouth but not the nose, is useless. The SARS-CoV-2 virus is AIRBORNE. Therefore it will be taken in by the nose... as well as exhaled through the nose, the same as inhaling and exhaling through one's mouth. It's bad enough that the majority of customers seem to feel that masks aren't needed here in a county where the viral case numbers along with the death rates keep rising, but to see the employees not take it seriously among the covidiots is sad. This store has managed to retain some really great employees, and I'd hate to see any of them become sick, and God forbid, die... all because of non-compliance to the mask and/or social distancing protocols. This store has come a long way in the last couple of years in customer service, even in a pandemic. This county is unfortunately full of covidiots who think we that wear masks and expect others to maintain a certain distance are crazy, that COVID-19 isn't that big of a deal. Not gonna go into a medical rant here... (my degrees may be gathering dust, but my brain cells aren't)... just gonna say this Walmart has improved greatly, customer service is definitely much better, most employees wear their masks correctly, but beware of the masses of customers who DO NOT wear masks!

The Downtown Nashville Walgreens…read more In my estimation, this is the one and only Walgreens in Downtown Nashville that is accessible to Broadway. Disparate from other Walgreens that I am familiar with in major tourist centers, this location is underwhelming for alcohol and souvenirs. With regards to this review, I am using "The Daniel. S Yelp Real Time Feature" where I write from my first-hand journaling experience. "June 24, 2025: We are bound for Walgreens. Walking through the Assembly Food Hall we cut off some of the uphill climb up John Lewis Way that is bothering Dad's knees. Now walking up John Lewis Way we are passing by the historic Woolworth Theater and what looks like a Theater District. At the crest of the hill, we step inside the only downtown Nashville Walgreens. At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco, and Denver. Their Nashville caps are overpriced and fail to strike me. They fail to carry the bullet beer (24 ounce cans) that I want to pick up for the hotel room. However, they have cold beverages and snacks that my Dad and Brother are buying. I am headed to Starbucks for my beverage. Toi, who rings up my Dad and Brother, is a friendly and personable Cashier. When we return to the what looks like a Theater District along John Lewis Way, being empty handed of purchases allows me to photograph the Woolworth Theater." My "Real Time Yelp First-hand Feature" elucidates that the Downtown Nashville Walgreens deserves Three Stars.

However, the spotty customer service makes me hesitate to recommend it at all. I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). I return here for the location only, but I wish for a more consistently cordial (if not friendly) and efficient experience.
