Seasonal beers!

Mmm, Kroger! To some extent, a grocery store is a grocery store. The best one is the one that's got everything you're looking for and you know where to find it. In that regard, this particular location really shines. It's not the Whole Foods-mini that is the Heights Kroger, but strikes the balance between neighborhood store and high-end grocer. But, you can't talk about everything in a grocery store, so here's the top 5: 1. It's on the small side, very well organized, and really well maintained - so getting in, finding what you want and getting out is particularly easy here. 2. Sushi Wednesday! It's no sit-down restaurant, but Kroger sushi is a closely kept secret by those who messily devour it, and this spot does a weekly special day :) 3. Service. I've been to a lot of grocery stores, service is not something you expect in most - and in a select few you can rely on awful service. But this one has a consistent and reliable crew. Top marks! 4. Produce. Most grocery stores have decent produce sections around us, but I've been particularly lucky here. It's not the overwhelming experience you find of some other places, it's just right. Also, check out the Manager's Special rack across from the rotisserie chicken. 5. Flowers! It's small, tidy, right next to the front door, and awesome for a quick treat for the loved one ;) Also, on a complete side note, they have the *best* gummy bears. Seriously - Southeast corner, between the bakery and seafood aisle. No one else comes close to those little bear shaped slices of heaven! Why this ding to four-stars? Well, it's a smaller store on a popular street, so at peak times you won't be able to park anywhere. And might die trying. Not really, but it gets crazy out there, so be careful!

Always horrible service and attitude when I ask questions.... You can tell the staff doesn't want to be there and could care less.

This Kroger never seems to restock their shelves. Once the product run out you don't see them for weeks!

Produce section is a disgrace! Everything old, moldy,…read moreoverpriced or not priced at all. I had to ask how much four different things were today. It sucks having to go to one store for produce, another for bulk beans and spices and things... Instead of having dry goods in bins, everything here is wrapped in plastic. Animal- and environment-maiming plastic. Come on!!!! There's a much more reasonably priced and better quality selection of organic produce than at WF or Kroger. A good selection of gluten-free grains and baking flours, as well as GF snacks, cereals... A crazy amount of vitamins and supplements - one whole side of the store. Lots of nice bulk items you won't find elsewhere, like jasmine tea and cinnamon sticks. Unique chocolates and teas and trail mixes - all kinda fun stuff. Plus they give you a free lady bug bag on your first visit - so nice. --- some things aren't fresh, like berries, daikon; some arent fresh and are way overpriced, like ginger; there aren't some items like red onions, cherry toor cilantro. it was freezing in the store; the classes they offer aren't of interest; the beauty section (shampoo, lotion, solid peetc.) selection isn't great. I mean there are tons of products, and it's great you can sample them, but they're not that great of quality.

I don't really come here for the produce. It can be a bit pricey, for example, $4 Goats Milk that…read moreis $1.89 at Kroger or $5 Alkaline water that is $2.99 at Wal-Mart... However, I LOVE their organic supplements section! They have just about everything I go in looking for; it's an expansive selection of products. I'm into homeopathic, herbal and Ayurvedic medicine and I can always find things here that I can't seem to find anywhere else besides Amazon. Checkout is always quick and I love that they don't use plastic. I sell online a lot so the boxes they give me come in handy later for shipping. Great place!

It's Trader Joe's, what's NOT to love about it?! I escaped California about a year and a half ago…read moreand there's very little that I mess about that poop hole, but Trader Joe's is one of them. I was tickled to death to find a location in Little Rock even though I have to drive about an hour from Diamondhead to get there. The store is well organized, the staff is friendly and efficient, and I can get my solid faves like they're frozen pizza dough, individual serving meals for those nights. I don't feel like cooking, and they come at a fantastic price. Cheaper than I can make them that's for sure. The wine selection is outstanding and you can't hardly beat their cheese department. About the only negative I can say is that I have asked their employees several times to please pass on the absolute need for a Trader Joe's in Hot Springs. Every single time they shoot me down and say that "there will never be a Trader Joe's in Hot Springs." Why is that? Arkansas is the number one state for people to be moving to and believe me, there are a whole lot of conservatives that are moving here like myself that still enjoy a little bit of that hippie vibe. Hook a sister up? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?!?!

I love Trader Joe's for their organic selection of products and nice produce, so I was very happy to shop here for the week. The ambiance is always very nice and attractive looking, and you can easily find products in the store, depending on what you are looking for and what appeals to your interest. The service is wonderful and on point as always from the staff. They are always willing to help you out if you need assistance. Trader Joe's is an excellent grocery store with wonderful, high quality organic products and produce, and will always be my choice for organic foods whenever I need to go grocery shopping. It is simply the best hands down.
