Had a representative from the online delivery department literally tell me that they had no control…read moreover whether or not third party agents chose to deliver the products that I paid for online. I asked, "Are you telling me that Walmart isn't responsible for delivering the products that I paid for?" She said, "No, sir. That's not what I said." Actually, that IS what you said. Manager Jennifer (who provided Jim Clark's name, but refused to provide her OWN last name) was equally snide and dismissive of any responsibility to deliver my order. I finally got an email that the item had been delivered, only to find out (via the delivery image) that it ended up being delivered to another unknown location. My experience with this store wasn't just bad. It was a net loss of time and effort and I didn't even receive my order.

Cleaner than normal, very efficient self checkout, smartly integrated app and payment options…read moreespecially smooth utilization for gift cards, I often end up here only with gift cards because besides the random ten or so favorites the produce is below average. Aldi and Kroger offer better value and quality for produce. There's no b-grade options, disturbing to see corporations happy to price gouge consumers and ruin farmers. Employee treatment remains infamous. The selection and brand options are overwhelming without being that well priced. Ice cream is especially obnoxious to see how little five bucks gets now. Only Target makes everything here look fair.

They taste awesome and def worth the price and it lasted us about a week. They have added a few new items and added a couple of cold cases around the store. Staff is always friendly and checking out is always quick no matter now busy they get. Def recommend stopping by. Locally owned nd awesome foods.

Moving from Miami to rural Ohio has been a real shock to my palate, especially considering my…read moreCuban/Spanish heritage. The variety of restaurants or ethnic food available for purchase at grocery stores is laughably low. So i heard about George's International Market and checked out their website. I was really excited to try it because it gave the impression of being "International" and i love a wide variety of foods. I decided due to this to make the long drive into Fort Wayne to check this place out. My first impression of this place was confusion. Just inside the store you find a statue of a lion holding a shield, a statue of Elvis, and a third statute of Marilyn Monroe in her famous skirt scene. I am unsure what this has to do with a supermarket. I then walked into the actual market and was surprised at how much smaller it looks than in the website. I also discovered as I began exploring that its "international" designation is a bit overstated. It does have food from one or two European countries but its mostly hispanic and really mostly Mexican. Was i a bit disappointed? Yes. That said, i did find a lot of food that my culture also loves in here that overlaps. Firstly, i found actual green plantains! Usually in the supermarkets near my home they sell plantains but they are rarely green. To be able to fry some up and have tostones! Yes!!!!! I also found other products my family and I would love including plantain chips, malta, yuca, tamales, Jamaican patties, and croquettas. The croquettas were of the frozen variety and sadly only in chicken, i prefer ham. I was also very happy when I found Pineapple Nectar for my mom. She loves the stuff and hasn't had any since we moved! So i did end up buying quite a bit when I came here and i will likely come back again. I hope they continue to expand what they have available for sale here, though.

I would give them fine stars, but they lose one because the last time I was in there the man I presume to be the owner yelled at one of the sweet Mennonite young ladies who work there. I was standing well behind the counter looking at the menu. He yells at her thinking she's slacking and holding me up. I was simply taking my time choosing my lunch. Besides, he shouldn't be screaming at his help for any reason. They are sweet Mennonite Amish, for the most part, and are always a delight to talk to. Shame on him for treating them in that way. If I ever see him yell at them again, he surely will lose a customer.

Its a very cute place run by the Amish, off US 31 in the middle of nowhere, lots to like! It reminds me a bit of Cracker Barrel, you can buy things in the store section, baked goods, jams, etc. The deli counter is where you order up your Deli sandwich, prepared with care by young Amish ladies wearing proper attire. I had a Deli Roast Beef on homemade Wheat Bread with pepperjack cheese, chipotle sauce, and jalapenos, very good! Served with chips and a cookie if you wish. This place is the real deal, nothing franchisee about it, despite my Crackerbarrel comparison. I have to think my money spent there is supporting some Amish family/families, so I feel good about that. Check it out if you are ever out that way!! We will stop again, I am sure.
