It's decent, but they need to fix some of their deli prices. I love the pinwheels the deli makes, but good god how are they 9 dollars normally? Of course, I'm not willing to pay that much. It has become increasingly frustrating to shop at the Kroger in Clinton. There are almost never enough checkout stations open. This morning there were 2 staffed lanes open (actually better than typical 1), however, there were only 3 self-checkout stations open. The lines were backed way out into the store, making it difficult for those still shopping to navigate the aisles. I saw at least 1 person abandon their cart and leave the store due to the extremely long wait. This is inexcusable. For a good while I have been thinking that it might be worth the drive to shop at Whole Foods in Jackson. This morning was the final nudge I needed. read more

Pharmacy Review - a couple of years ago, I loved using this pharmacy. They were quick and convenient. Over the past twelve months, I've grown to dread using this pharmacy. The drive through line has become a test of endurance. It's not much better inside. They haven't kept up with the staffing to keep their service quick and efficient. Today, the second drive thru window isn't even open with over ten cars in queue. They really need to do some hiring to get their level of service back to what it was at one time. No one wants to wait an hour to drop off, a couple of days to get something filled, and then wait an hour to pickup. I will change this review if the situation improves, but it's not a pleasant experience at this time. read more

I go to this Kroger almost everyday love the deals with my Kroger app! Gas is a must so I get rewarded for my shopping expense. Whether it is 2x or 4x points you'll get a lot of value from shopping at Kroger and once you see that 10 cents off of 2.11 - 2.20 go down to 2.01 or 2.10 it is satisfying. The inside is very clean and as we speak they're remodeling a lot. They have the shelves stocked everytime I come in and I get to make beautiful looking food either Kroger or the farmers market and when I can't make it to the farmers Kroger is the closest thing I have close to that. Next to the meat counter choosing your meat and seafood by the pound which is a plus. The staff is very friendly they know who I am when I come in for the most part. This is a great location. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I believe they have trained their employees to say hello to guests often, but they do it in a way that I don't feel like they are forced to. I like the self check out stations for busy days, but the clerks are always pleasant, so I don't mind having to go through the lines when necessary. It's usually pretty well stocked. They have clicklist here, and it seems wildly popular, so I see a lot of people doing the collections for it, but they are polite and try to be as our of the way as possible, which I greatly appreciate it. Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. Today after shopping at the Kroger in Clinton, MS, the cashier and I noticed an additional charge of $10.00 plus tax to my total bill. Neither she nor I could account for the charge so she returned it to my debit account. After coming home I looked it up and it was ZHZW Enterprises which is supposedly an initiative to stop hunger and waste. The problem is that I had never heard of it nor was I asked to donate any money to it. In my opinion, this is fraud and should be brought to the attention to all shoppers to see if they also have been charged for something that they knew nothing about. read more

This is the worst Kroger's in the USA.. It was nasty, floors dirty, they were out of a lot of things.. I really like this Kroger. First, it's close to my home. Seedings, it's conveniently located on the corner with other shopping and food nearby. Even if those two things weren't true, I'd like shopping here. It's a happy, clean place, and well maintained. They're also kind to their customers. I purchased "reduced " meat on 1/9/2018. I had ALOT of groceries to buy - $317.00 worth - and was in a hurry. When I got home, I found that the chicken tenderloins were marked "Sell by 12/26/2017", and the pork chops "Sell by 12/26/2017". Not one product, but two!! I cannot understand why the Kroger in Clinton had only one check-out Lane open at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019. The Kroger in Jackson always has plenty of lanes open. I tried to explain my dissatisfaction to a male supervisor and he turned his back and walked away from me. The female supervisor couldn't have cared less that I had a problem. Every time I buy vegetables, they go bad within a day (especially the lettuce, kale, spinach, peppers and even onions!) I've also seen that the cheese has visible mold. I would NOT recommend buying anything "fresh" at the Clinton Kroger. read more

The store is very clean. The floor staff is always helpful. The florist staff is great. The meat department is clean and, again, there is always staff to consult. The pharmacy personnel for the most part are very courteous. There is one particular person that ALWAYS has attitude. I can usually get in and out quickly. Parking is sometimes challenging. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are these. First, the parking lot needs to be repaired very badly. I mean the pot holes are horrible. This store used to be great. The employees so helpful and friendly. A welcome difference from WalMart. Now the store inside and out is filthy. The produce is mush and very often on display with mold. The employees are rude and destroy the high priced groceries by throwing them without care when checking out. They are often out of items weeks at a time.
