Kroger is a far better alternative than going to big box grocery stores especially on weekends and during the holidays. I enjoy this location for its fresh produce, organic selection, vegan frozen foods, and seafood. The weekly deals and digital coupons make shopping competitive on selective products including vitamins. It is a busy location with a hectic parking lot situation but stays well stocked on the foods my family and I eat. The store includes a deli, made fresh daily sushi, bakery, seafood, floral, and pharmacy department and best of all a fully operated Starbucks. read more

Heyyyyy family!!!! I missed you l.... Unfortunately I have to give this review and I am saddened because I drove 15 HOURS to get here. First let me say... I was rather surprised at how this store has changed. The customer service isn't as AWESOME as it use to be when I lived here. There are no more greetings and no more smiling face. Makes me sad! Let me start out by saying the location has others stores around it so there is a REALLY great Chinese food restaurant t next to it that I use to ALWAYS go to. They are so kind and friendly in there but back to the story at hand. Some of the aisle don't even have a sign and I had to ask where the dog stuff was located. Then I went to customer service and waited for someone to help. After a while I am told basically NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE NEXT 2 HOURS!! WOW that's I find to be crazy so you can't get any help for 2 hours. Nope nope nope that is NOT what I call customer service and mind you it wasn't extremely busy but ok I won't come back to this location EVER again and mind you when I order food for my mother .... This location ALWAYS get her order wrong. I should know better. The chain is normally wonderful. I am surprised by this one!! read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would I'm a new mom and I went to exchange diapers that they have at the store and the lady told me no even though all I wanted to do was an even exchange for a different size. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard Meanwhile as I'm standing there with my newborn and two heavy boxes, she basically told me to go fuck myself she wasnt exchanging them. I've been going to this one since it opened, many years ago. It has slowly declined. They are renovating now. The stockers at this store are both aggressive and sloppy. Pallets block really basic items entirely right now. YOU GUYS NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR AWFUL STOCKING STAFF; SERIOUSLY!! They are rude, haphazard, sloppy, loud. ...they act as if they matter more than people there spending money. THEY DON'T. Without the people spending, they wouldn't have jobs. The regular staff is amazing. The people stocking are ridiculous. How hard is it to NOT be an ass to a customer? Not very hard. UPDATE: I have to update my previous review for the ClickList service. I used this again this week for my grocery shopping, and my bank card was charged $192.73, but my total bill was just $139.14. I called Kroger customer service the very next day and I was told it would be corrected by the following day, which would be within 48 hours after my purchase. It was not corrected by Kroger. I was overcharged over $50. My bank, USAA, is disputing it and I'm sure it will be resolved, BUT ~~~in the long run, I won't trust the Kroger ClickList to be reliable again. I must also mention that when I used ClickList last week, my receipt total was $186.72. My bank account was only charged $184.85. I don't consider this to my advantage, it messes up my check register!! I didn't notice this difference until last night, so now I'll have another thing to deal with because Kroger didn't charge my bank what my grocery receipt said for the groceries I received. I've used ClickList TWICE, and both times Kroger didn't charge my bank the amount on the receipt. Needless to say, I no longer recommend this service to anyone and my previous 5 star rating goes down to a 1 star. I'll shop for myself, and it will no longer be at a Kroger. read more

First time in a Kroger in years. Not a very good steak selection which was the only reason I came in. Ended up getting some 2-liters of soda, and coffee creamer. It's nice, clean, well lit and had a seemingly good variety of stuff. Nice deli too. The cashier was a very nice young man and helped me sign up for a Kroger card. I'm living in a hotel with a grill, hence just a steak as part of the initial list. The house I am waiting to move into is not near a Kroger so I likely won't be back but for the card because.... why not? read more

Just wanted to say thanks to Heather for always helping me when loading my groceries onto the belt. As a cashier, I don't expect that. But, she must see that my hands are usually full with my little one. And, today, the bagger Val helped take out my grocery cart and load all the bags into my vehicle. I feel bad that others have not had such great experiences at this store as I have. I do shop at the other groceries, but they don't carry my baby's favorite waffles! Or, they were sold out. So, I had to come back to this one anyway. And, the organic fruit selection at this Kroger was way better than its competitors (that I shopped just a few days ago). I could have just come here and done it all in one trip! Lesson learned. read more

This Kroger is not close enough to us to frequently shop here but when we come to Lowes we definitely stop in. Being from Ohio I always came to Krogers. Living in the south for so long I didn't see many. This particular store is smaller but tidy. It's always so crowded and to be honest, the store usually keeps pallets and displays in the middle of the larger isles. I have found this to be more of a hindrance than benefit but I get what they're trying to do. The employees are always super friendly and the checkout lines always move quickly. The sushi here is top notch! The best I've had from a supermarket, almost a sushi house. I do live their flower section as well. read more

I won't be going to this store again. Last night I picked up about 30 cans of my favorite energy drink on sale I checked out at the open self checkout. No sooner did I get the cans scanned and the conveyor belt started up backwards, throwing many of the cans on the floor. What a mess, the girl working who had her back to me talking to her friends the whole time walked over and said, yeh it does that if you use the scanner. I just moved to the area, and this Kroger seems like a "Miss" when it comes to finding your groceries. I like Kroger and their other brands usually, but my shopping list generally is composed of a lot of fresh items. I tend to shop the perimeter of grocery stores, and I was supremely disappointed in Kroger's produce and fresh items. The produce section here can only be described as a "hot mess" with a picked over selection including no jalapenos, large lettuce mixes, no green onions, and no avocados in sight (on my short shopping list). Cheese selection is limited. Meat looks highly oxidized. Additionally, it looked as if there had been a produce "Black Friday" with trash and greens all over the place in the aisles (consistent with multiple weekday and weekend shopping). I will say that I recommend this Kroger if you buy canned / non-fresh-food items (frozen, etc) for the prices only. Avoid if you need eggs, dairy, fresh meat, or fresh produce. Publix has higher prices, but the quality has no comparison. read more

I love Krogers and I go Krogering whenever I can.. My family has always shopped at Krogers while growing up. I love their name brand products sometimes even better than other major name brands. Having just moved here, I just discovered Kroger's. What a wonderful surprise! Walking through the doors one is greeted with clean, shiny floors, and welcoming ambience of light. Everything is well stocked, neatly displayed & priced affordably. No more WalMart with overcrowding & chaotic & short of stock displays. Publix is very nice but limited supply & pricier. I normally shop at this Kroger face to face but about two days ago I decided to use Instacart so that I could buy some baby formula because I didn't want to wake my baby up to go to Kroger for just two cans of formula. Long story short it ended up being the wrong formula and I didn't know if I could return it or not so I ended up calling customer service. I calmly asked if I could return the formula because I had bought the wrong one and I still haven't opened it. The lady on the phone gave me the worst attitude and before I could say thank you she hung up on me. For someone who works in customer service that wasn't very friendly. I'm only giving their customer service two stars but as an establishment they are at a five. read more

Let's face it there isn't much competition in Clarksville, but this store has the best produce in town as far as I'm concerned. If you use the Kroger card, prices are competitive, and you don't have to deal with People of Walmart. The rest of the grocery areas are fine, good selection and never run out of anything. As another reviewer noted they also have a pretty good organic section. They are open late which is nice, and if you go around 8-9 pm you can get some great deals when the deli is closing down. All the employees are very friendly, and I love self checkout! The only con to this place is the horrible speed bumps Lowe's put in, but if you come from Trenton Road you can skip all that. read more

Living right down the street my wife and I always go here for last minute things and just getting groceries. Never seems to be really crowded and is always clean. I placed an order for delivery the next day, late this Saturday evening Feb 13. The order was scheduled for delivery Sunday Feb 14, between 12-2 pm. It was then delayed until 3:15pm, The shopper was texting me about substitutions, then my order was cancelled due to an emergency supposedly, and another shopper was supposed to fulfill my order. Then delayed until 5:35pm, delayed again until 7:05 pm, again at 8:45pm, delayed again for 9:45pm, then again delayed until 10:45 pm. I never received my grocery order today. I contacted instacart multiple times and they just kept delaying my order. Now it's scheduled for delivery for tomorrow, Monday Feb.15th  from 12-2. I am beyond upset and disappointed. I paid for $250.00 worth of groceries and a delivery fee, and I do not have my groceries! I tried calling Kroger's Lowes Dr.  here in Clarksville,Tn and could never get anyone on the phone. I just want my groceries. Now tonight we have a snow storm,and very little groceries. I have 2 children and have to hope and pray we get our groceries delivered tomorrow.  I would have plenty of groceries if the groceries I ordered and paid for were delivered. I should not have to beg for the groceries I paid for. Very disappointed and poor customer service on Kroger and instacart. read more

I love shopping at this Kroger location. They have a great variety and all of the things that I normally shop for. They also have great deals and I love using the app to save even more with digital coupons. But what makes this location in particular so great are the employees. They are always so kind and helpful. Just about every time I walk passed an employee here they smile and ask how I'm doing, if I need any help finding something, etc. I live closer to another Kroger but prefer coming to this one because of this. read more

This is one of three Kroger stores here. You would think they would all be alike, but they aren't. To me, this one is my least favorite. The workers are kind of snotty (not all, just some), especially at Self-Checkout. I had a worker literally snatch the coupons from my hand because I hadn't given them to her fast enough. LOVE this grocery store! Kroger carries such a great variety of produce, to include organic. You can find economical store brand products and high end items, and everything in between. All of the employees are super helpful and with your Kroger card (takes 2 minutes to fill out the form) you save a lot of money. You can find a decent parking spot without fighting traffic like at Walmart, and when you enter the store they provide Clorox wipes to disinfect your cart! How neat is that! Their bakery is superb, as well as their other departments. And if you need that last minute bouquet their floral arrangements are exquisite! I return to this store because it's convenient, they carry everything, and the price is just right. read more

Overall, this is a great place to get your groceries at. Generally speaking, the employees are very friendly and the selection of food is excellent. However I have a couple complaints for an otherwise excellent establishment: 1) Employees are regularly taking their break very close to the entrance and are allowed to smoke there. When customers walk in, they don't like smelling nasty cigarette smoke. It's 2018 people. Come on! 2) This one is just straight up weird: The store officially opens at 6:00 AM, but it's quite obvious that many employees are annoyed if you show up before 7:00 AM. I have done this twice and their attitude is very noticeable compared to coming there at normal hours. I was getting some chicken the first time and the employee stocking up the shelves blatantly gave me a look that he was pissed that I was buying his stock. You serious? Nobody there was nice at all. I went through the register line and the woman there was busy gossiping with a coworker and didn't even bother to say hi/good morning or anything. I was the only customer there and I can see why no one goes there early. To the management, get your employees in line! The second time (and the last) I just bought a handful of items and tried to go through the self-checkout. It was around 6:45 so the store had been open to the public for almost an hour. The guy running it just looks at me and said "we're closed." Nice customer service, buddy. I then had to put my stuff back in my cart and went to the regular checkout line. The woman who checked me out was very nice and polite, so not a totally bad experience. Overall though, you guys can do better. I will still shop at this store but going before 8:00 AM is off limits. read more

I like Kroger because they have great prices and a member card to load coupons on. Last time I went to took full advantage of the digital coupons and my total savings for one shopping trip was $20.00! I don't like the layout of the store, I ended up having to go back and forth across the entire store about three times but it was good exercise! I also didn't think their vegetable selection was very good, I was looking for Anise and they only had it in the organic section which is okay but expensive. read more
