We attempted to move my younger child to a different location when our older child aged out of Cambridge ... we only lasted 3 weeks until we moved him back to Cambridge. For us Cambridge is worth every penny and every minute extra that it takes us to do two drop offs. What is also notable about Cambridge is its consistency. They have very little staff turnover. It is mostly the same group of staff as it was 5 years ago when we started there. There is also consistency in the children present. While families do come and go, for the most part both of my kids have had a very consistent group of kids throughout their time at Cambridge, in other words there are a lot of other families who are happy here too!

We feel comfortable leaving her and trust that the team will take the best care of her. During the day they follow the same routine but change the activities. They incorporate small group activities that focus on specific areas of development such as fine motor skills, gross motor skills, communication etc. The children are grouped by skill level to ensure activities are appropriate. They also allow for exploratory play in the class and have a variety of toys/items that appeal to the different senses (toys that make different noises, toys that are visually stimulating etc). A hot lunch is served every day and the babies sit in a table with high chair seats. Nap time is after lunch and some how they get the babies to sleep for at least an hour. We definitely recommend Brite Beginnings.

Our son has been attending for over a year and we could not be happier with the staff and the owner. Every day when I pick my son up he talks about how much fun he had at "school", he loves the food, and he is always very happy when we drop him off. Most of the staff have been there since he started and having a low turnover in a daycare is a hard thing to do these days. Part of my job is interviewing and hiring educational assistants to work with special needs students in schools so you better believe that I did a very thorough job in researching a place to send my own child. I asked all the right questions and I know what to look for in people who care about early education. Aleksandra, the owner, is a constant presence and has very high standards for her staff. She is an early education professional with a teaching background and we love that she and her staff bring real learning and fun into the daily routine. Mama Roza's was recommended to us by a nurse at the RAH and I went to meet with Esta (Mama Roza's daughter) and immediately fell in love with the space and the compassion shown to me and my family. Not only were they extremely understanding and accommodating, they have created a wonderful community and familial atmosphere of caring and respect (a quick message out to the community and they helped me get a playpen for my daughter so she had somewhere to sleep at oir AirBnB). My daughter absolutely loves the daycare, which is incredible, themed curriculum that is shared with parents in advance that includes experiential learning amd STEM activities (which as an educator is a huge plus in my books) and freshly prepared healthy meals and snacks daily by their in-house chef. Every one of their staff I have interacted with are both knowledgeable and professional (Huge thank you to Esta and Ruth for going above and beyond to support us) and treat my daughter as their own. It has been almost a year since then and I am incredibly happy with the care my children have received. The staff are amazing and since we have been there I have not seen any turnover. This is a family run daycare and you can tell because they put a lot of heart into what they do. The kids go on field trips and there is a great playground outback with lots of green space and no traffic to worry about. They are always available to answer questions or concerns with confidence. I have had my children attending other daycares and this one is the best so far.
