Wonderful shop! I always enjoy checking out Kristy's Kloset, I usually end up finding something and if not the owner is always a delight and is very patient with my son when we go in there. 3rd time shoulda been "The Charm". It was not. Went to the old location once. Terrible musty smell. My asthma went into overdrive. New location is in the same strip mall as my PT. First time I went, apparently her A/C was out. She frantically informed me of what the temp was in the store and that she needed to get home. OK. I get it. Visit #2. No greeting. OK, the owner was busy at the counter with a customer. I cruise the premises. Customer leaves, returns with husband. It was pretty classic so I commented on it. No response. They have some nice things, mostly reasonably priced. 3rd time. I'm def looking for something specific. Figured I'd ask when I got in. Well,, no greeting again. This time she was totally engaged with another woman at the register...the entire 15 min I was in the store. I scoped out the entire perimeter again, was going to get in a question or two, but these ladies were talking about school and their kidz... I'm a #GrievingMom and a retired SpEd teacher, so OK, AGAIN. As I approached the exit, I hear, "Did you need help looking for anything?" My response, "A little late to ask"., and I walked out. I am a SuperThrifter. I've been collecting vintage clothes for over 50 years. I love small consignment shops because they usually have some of the local charm and people who love what they do. This is the only consignment store in the area that has an excellent selection and variety of styles and sizes! The best proof of this is that my 15 year old athletic daughter and this "pushing 60-no longer thin" Mom both love this store! We never leave empty handed! Love the shoes, jewelry, seasonal clothes and accessories. The staff and service is great and so are the prices. This is our go-to store for apparel that we know we'll love. I bought a dress from here that was ripped. They took it to the seamstress to fix their mistake. My grandfather passed away and I could no longer use the dress before they had it available for me. They refused to return the dress. Worst customer service and very unfriendly and staff is more concerned about money than having compassion for fellow human beings. I will never shop here again. read more
