We were hiring her to work with us on our architectural plans for twin homes in the Cardiff beach community. I have to say, Deborah is such an amazing architect with a very detailed eye. Her extraordinary suggestions & ideas to maximize the space and usage of the floor plan was appreciated and made it exciting to visualize the possibilities of this home. Deborah's knowledge of the city's permitting & building process was extremely helpful too. She is very educated on the building & planning requirements and created our plans to the inch of what was allowed. Not only am I a client, but I am also a Realtor® and have referred clients to Deborah because I personally know that they are in the best hands when it comes to a building project. I would highly recommend Deborah Shewaga's services. Her guidance, knowledge and vision are definitely top notch. We contacted Reverence Engineering to help us with a major home renovation that involved opening up…read moreour living room and kitchen, creating a vaulted ceiling, and installing 27 feet of sliding glass doors. From the beginning, Brett was fantastic to work with. He came out to assess the project and put together a very reasonable proposal that fit within our budget. During the design process, he presented different structural and design options, carefully explaining the possibilities and helping us work through the decisions. Having those options was incredibly valuable, as it allowed us to refine our ideas and ultimately choose a design that best matched our vision for the home. Once the plans were finalized and submitted to the city, the permitting process went remarkably smoothly. Our plans sailed through the city's approval process, allowing us to move forward with construction without unnecessary delays. Demolition uncovered some unexpected structural issues that required changes to the original engineering plans. This is where Brett's professionalism and responsiveness really stood out. He was able to provide revised plans so that construction could continue without delays. Having an engineer who was readily available and able to solve problems quickly made a tremendous difference. Especially when we had all sub contractors booked and ready to work. We couldn't be happier with the finished renovation. Looking back, we're especially glad we took the time to explore the different design options with Brett rather than simply settling on the first approach. His expertise and willingness to work through the possibilities helped us achieve exactly what we had envisioned.

I am a local house flipper, so I have had some interesting experiences with other architects, but was ready to try someone new. From the start, I could tell Jason had more knowledge and ideas then all of the other architects I have worked with before combined. The project was completed without any complications and the buyer of the home actually told me that him and his wife were buying the home because of the deck..thanks Jason! Anyways, I was so impressed that I had him over to my personal house on Mt. Soledad to give me some ideas on my upcoming remodel. Again, blew me away with ideas, designs and concepts..so he was hired...again. He produced such great ideas and results, that even my wife and I agreed on the concepts...a first. Not one person walks into my home without complementing me on the design and original concepts. Jason always comes up with solutions to any situation and he is very honest and reliable, which is tough to find in this industry. I wanted to convert a guest house to an ADU unit in the City of San Diego. I gave Bart my construction budget and he assured me it was adequate to do the job. I hired him and boy was that a mistake. My budget was $150,000. I had 3 bids , each over $250,000. I wasted my time working with someone who told me they knew the regulations for the City of SD. I found out he did not know the regulations. When I went for final permit he had left off numerous items that needed to be on the permitted plans. The City Planner assisted me and pasted on the required language.
