Luckily, they were so easy-going with the postponements and were available for those dates, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for another vendor. My husband was very impressed with their video editing styles that we knew we had to book them. I loved their photo editing styles as well, but our venue already provided us with a photography team, so we ended up opting for an engagement session add-on as a compromise. Justin was so accommodating and patient with all of our questions and requests, and was easy to work with! We ended up having our engagement session July 2020, in the middle of the pandemic and everything was still closed. Crazy enough, we just went back to the same area recently, and my husband was surprised how it was completely empty when we had our shoot there. Justin got us our pictures back pretty quickly, and they turned out amazing!! I was a little tired from all of the running around, so I didn't look as nice later on during the session, but Justin did the best he could, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!! Our wedding ended up being in September 2021, and before our big day, Justin had a meeting with us to go over everything and answered any questions that we've had. He was well-organized and helped eased our worries! On the day of the wedding, we met Justin's team: Marvin, Christopher, and Dominique. They were amazing and shot anything and everything that they could! We loved that we were able to see the raw footage because some of the moments captured were very memorable to us! We opted for the same-day edit, because at the time we booked them, we were going to show the video during a banquet reception (that got canceled due to the pandemic), so they worked endlessly trying to edit to be able to showcase the video at the end of the night. The video turned out very well, and even our DJ, who has editing background, was very impressed as well! My mother in law loved it so much that, for weeks after our wedding, she was still showing it to everybody she knew that couldn't attend the wedding. We got our Extended Highlight film about a month or so later, and absolutely loved it!! Thank you so much Dominique for shooting and editing our videos!! My husband loves her editing style and were glad to hear that she was able to come out and edit our video! Thank you Marvin and Christopher for your cinematography skills and capturing all of the memorable (and not so memorable) moments! It was so nice to have one last "goodbye" to this amazing team at the end of the night, when most of our vendors and guests have left! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a more better videography team than Justin Element's team. Thank you for being part of our big day! She provides many upgrades that cater to Asian traditions like entrance photos that we definitely would have booked had our schedule not been so tight. She was amenable to design feedback for the printouts as well! The biggest plus was that her photobooth system allows photos to be retaken and the timer restarted!!! This is such a gamechanger since I totally understand people being anxious and not being ready. Another huge draw of QD booth over others was that it has a professional light (and not those ring light types) so that everyone is well lit up from above so no dim photos here! Lastly, she uses a camera in it so the quality of the images was so much better than other photobooths (the ipad kinds). The cherry on top is that the package includes a sequin wall, but we decided to use our own backdrop to keep with our theme. The day of, there was an unfortunate delay but she made up for it by extending the time so that we got the time that we paid for. Quynh was so kind and patient with all of our older Asian guests all night long, and my mom later praised her helpfulness and friendliness with a smile that put everyone at ease since many of our guests had never used a photobooth before! She has so so many wonderful props such as boba plushes, signs in Vietnamese, as well as our crowd's favorite: "dim sum daddy" LOL! Kara and Denis had shot a wedding that my husband and I attended in October 2014 and we were blown away by the quality and the beauty of the photos. As our friends began to share their, "sneak peeks" on Facebook, I immediately headed over to the Kayden Studios page and liked it. Each photo was more stunning than the last and I simply couldn't get enough. Needless to say when it came time to select a photographer for our wedding it was a no brainer! We met with Kara and Denis and booked our wedding date. After meeting with Kara and Denis my husband and I knew that they were the perfect choice! They spent well over and hour sharing samples of their work, package pricing information, and just chatting with us. It was apparent that not only are they both incredibly talented, but they make it a priority to really get to know their clients and support them in any way possible. After I had submitted the form, my husband and I met with Kara and Denis one more time, a few weeks prior to the wedding, to go over every last detail and finalize our plan. Kara and Denis shot our engagement photos in April 2015 and our wedding photos on November 14, 2015. The photos are simply INCREDIBLE. On the day of our wedding, Kara and Denis arrived early and ensured that everything ran according to our timeline throughout the entire day. They even stayed late to capture a few extra special shots of my husband and me in the barrel room. We never felt rushed and each special moment was captured flawlessly.
