I had some elementary music background, but I didn't want to sign up for one of these centers in the area. At the time I came across Samantha's site and thought, "this looks like someone who isn't all stuffy"; which is important to me. While I do want to learn, I'd like it to feel more like a conversation and less like I'm back in 5th grade. I was right. She is smart, thoughtful, has out-of-the-box approaches, and some great metaphors. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time working with her and would recommend her to any adult learner. I certainly feel the money and time I spend with for lessons here is well worth it. On the flip side, while I do not have a child under Samantha's tutelage, I know she also has a few young students who have been with her for some time (as long as I have at least), so she must be doing something right.
